On this channel, I’ll be giving you the “Grind Report” — reviewing games, creating educational guides, and sharing beginner tips & tricks across a variety of games.
The goal is simple: help you discover your next great grind.
Whether it’s a hidden gem, an addicting roguelike, an insane scaling autobattler, or a game worth sinking hundreds of hours into, I’ll be covering the games that are actually fun to play and worth your time.
If you enjoy progression, strategy, breaking games through scaling, or chasing the perfect run, you’re in the right place.
Welcome to The Grind Reporter.

Today’s variety episode is a little different from what I’ve done before!
I started a Mini Healer playthrough where I’m focusing exclusively on the Occultist specialization. My goal wasn’t just to beat the game—it was to make the series as educational as possible.
For this video I tried:
🎵 Keeping the in-game music and sound effects.
🎙️ Doing a full voiceover throughout the entire episode.
📖 Explaining my thought process, boss mechanics, and beginner tips & tricks as I play.
I’d really love your feedback on this style.
Do you prefer:
👍 Constant commentary explaining everything?
🎮 More game audio and fewer interruptions?
⚖️ Or a mix of both?
This series is meant to help both new and experienced players, so your feedback will help shape future episodes. Thanks as always for the support—the grind never stops! ❤️

👀 I think tomorrow's Variety upload 12 PM EST is going to surprise a lot of you...
I'm trying something a little different with the editing this time. Instead of leaving the gameplay mostly untouched, I'm speeding up the slower/resource-grind sections while explaining as much of my decision-making as I can, so it's easier to follow without losing what makes the game interesting.
This game is honestly a hidden gem. I talked about it quite a bit on stream, got a lot of positive feedback, and after playing it myself I can definitely see why.
There are 4 different specializations, plus Hardcore and Nightmare difficulties, so if you all enjoy it, there's a ton of replayability and room to experiment with different builds and strategies.
👀 Take your best guess in the comments... what game do you think it is?
If you were in stream, don't spoil it for everyone else. 😄

Sorry about that! The Oaken Tower video is live now! 🔥
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDCTS...
The Minecraft episode (edited with the sped-up sections and music) should be going live tomorrow, and after that I'm hoping to be back on my normal upload schedule.
Today ended up being more of a rest day than I planned, so things got a little out of sync. The good news is I also have 3 more Oaken Tower videos recorded in advance, and my plan is to get all of those scheduled tonight. That means you shouldn't have to worry about me missing another Oaken Tower upload for at least the next few days. 😄
Thanks again for all the support, and I'll see you all soon. The Grind Never Stops! 💛

I need your feedback!
I've never really experimented with posting full gameplay on this channel.
In the past, I almost always edited videos down by cutting out slower moments to make them easier to watch. For this channel, I've been trying something different by keeping more of the gameplay intact, but I'm not sure what's the most enjoyable way to watch a long progression series.
Before today's Minecraft upload goes live, I'd love your input.
If I continue long progression series like Minecraft, how would you prefer they're edited?
Poll Options
✂️ Cut to only the important moments
⏩ Speed up slower parts with music
▶️ Leave the gameplay mostly unedited
💬 Other (comment your ideas!)
Depending on what you all enjoy most, I'll start editing future episodes that way. My goal is to make these series as enjoyable as possible while still showing the progression that makes games like this fun.
Thanks for helping shape the future of the channel! ❤️

I’ve been thinking a lot about my upload schedule going forward, and I think I finally have a structure that makes sense.
🕛 12 PM EST – Variety Slot
Trying new strategy/progression games to see what sticks.
🕒 3 PM EST – Series Slot
Right now this is 100% All The Mods 10: To The Sky, posting about 2 hours of progress each day to see how much you all enjoy following a long-term adventure.
🕔 5 PM EST – Staple Slot
For now this is exclusively Oaken Tower.
I’m NOT committing to 3 uploads every day. 😅
The idea is that if I get far enough ahead on content (like a week or more), I’d rather get videos out while they’re still fresh and relevant instead of letting them sit on my hard drive.
One thing I’m still trying to figure out is how long I should give each series before moving on.
For example:
* ⛏️ Minecraft modpacks might be around 10+ episodes (or longer if you’re all enjoying it).
* 🎮 Something like Teamfight Manager 2 might only get 2–3 episodes to test the waters.
If a series performs well (relative to the rest of the channel) and you all seem excited for it, I’ll keep it going. If not, I’ll move on to the next game and keep searching for the next great grind.
What do you think of this schedule?
Would you enjoy this format, or is there anything you’d change? I’d love to hear your thoughts before I fully commit to it. ❤️

It’s been storming like crazy at my house, so I’m probably not going to start the Minecraft modpack stream tonight. I’d rather wait until tomorrow than risk the stream getting interrupted.
That does mean there’s a little more time to vote on the poll from my previous post if you want to help decide which modpack I’ll be playing for the new 100% Quest Book series!
I GUARANTEE we’ll be starting the modpack on stream tomorrow. Hope to see you all there! 😄
P.S. I accidentally had two Oaken Tower videos scheduled for 5:00 PM EST today. 😅 I caught it just in time and rescheduled one of them to 12:00 PM EST tomorrow.
So tomorrow’s schedule is looking stacked:
🕛 12:00 PM EST – Oaken Tower Video
🕔 5:00 PM EST – Oaken Tower Video
🎮 Later that day – Minecraft Modpack Stream (as soon as I have a few uninterrupted hours available)
If you haven’t already, join the Discord so you get notified the moment I go live!
Thanks again for all the support. Have a great evening everyone! ❤️

I’ve been doing a lot more research into modpacks because I want this to become my long-term 100% Quest Book completion series, so I wanted to get your opinion one more time before I commit.
Right now these are the finalists:
☁️ Project Ozone 2 (Normal Mode) (If we finish it and everyone enjoys it, we could eventually tackle Kappa Mode, which completely changes recipes and makes the game MUCH harder.)
🌳 SkyFactory 4
⭐ All the Mods to the Sky 10
⚙️ Techopolis 3
I’m looking for something with great progression, lots of content, and a quest book we can eventually 100% complete together over a long series.
This series will be alongside everything else I’m already doing (Oaken Tower, variety, and eventually my own game), so I want to make sure I pick the best one.
If you’ve played any of these, I’d also love to hear why you voted for one over another in the comments. Your experiences could definitely help me make the final decision! ❤️

Quick update! 🎉
Tonight's Oaken Tower upload is a fun one...
I became the first person to ever reach Level 10,000 in a single Oaken Tower run! 🏆
I actually could have pushed it even further (probably somewhere around 11,000–12,000 levels), but I thought stopping at that clean five-digit milestone made for a much cooler finish and saved quite a bit of time.
I'll be rendering and uploading that video tonight!
I should also have a new upload schedule/announcement ready within the next few days that better incorporates variety content alongside Oaken Tower. I'm excited to share what I've been working on.
For now though, I've been able to keep the world record momentum going, and I want to get these videos out as soon as the records are achieved while everything is still fresh.
Thanks again for all the support—I hope you enjoy tonight's upload, and keep an eye out for what's coming next.
At this point it honestly feels like we're breaking a different game every single day. 😂

Quick update! 🎉
I just set the new 10 Trophy Level World Record! 🏆
Level 490 is now the score to beat! That video will be going live tonight, so I hope you're excited for that one.
After that, I'll most likely be starting a 100% Minecraft Modpack Quest Book series on stream. Right now I'm leaning toward SkyFactory 5 because I think it's one of the easiest modpacks to follow while still having tons of progression and content to explore together.
For those of you who have been enjoying Teamfight Manager 2, don't worry—I'm not dropping it! I'll still be posting 1–2 more episodes here on The Grind Reporter as part of the variety content. After looking at the poll results and how the series has been performing, I think it makes the most sense to continue it over on The Nightly Grind, where longer, more relaxed playthroughs fit the channel really well. If those last 1–2 episodes end up doing exceptionally well here, I'm always happy to revisit that decision.
That also lets me focus the main channel on what seems to have the most interest right now: Oaken Tower, the upcoming Minecraft modpack series, and my biggest project yet...
Today is also the day I officially begin working on my own game! 🎮
I'll be gathering the resources I need, setting up the development pipeline, and starting work on the backend systems. As soon as I have something playable, I'll start recording playtests and sharing them with all of you so we can gather feedback and help shape the game together.
I think this has the potential to become a really fun long-term community project, and I'm excited to bring everyone along for the journey.
The Grind Never Stops. ❤️
