Ellvyra’s story begins in the First Realm, where her dragon grandmother lived during the time of the First Spinjitzu Master. When the creation of Ninjago caused conflict between realms, she became pregnant with a child fathered by an Oni, but with war breaking out and her husband called away, she fled the First Realm to survive. That child grew up to be Ellvyra’s mother, who was born in hiding and spent her life constantly moving due to her Oni-Dragon bloodline being hunted. Eventually, she found refuge in Ninjago City, where she met a kind human man, and together they had Ellvyra, who was born blind in her left eye. For a time, they lived peacefully, but that ended when hunters eventually found them, and Ellvyra’s father sacrificed his life to protect his family, dying so Ellvyra and her mother could escape. While hiding in an alleyway with baby Ellvyra, her mother found an abandoned infant named Brad inside a dumpster and, despite everything, chose to take him in and raise him alongside Ellvyra. Knowing she would not be able to protect them forever, she eventually made the painful decision to leave Ellvyra and Brad at the steps of Darkley’s Boarding School, believing it was the safest place she could find, even though it was far from ideal, and before disappearing she asked Mistaké, the tea lady, to watch over them from afar. Since Darkley’s Boarding School only accepts boys, Ellvyra could not be enrolled as a student and instead stayed there as a maid and janitor, quietly working behind the scenes while remaining close to Brad and later Lloyd without drawing attention to herself, with most students simply seeing her as a strict, sarcastic staff member. Years later, Lloyd arrived at Darkley’s, and this is where Lloyd, Brad, and Ellvyra first truly crossed paths as children.

Im still might add stuff to the lore and im gonna be explaining in more detail how Ellvyra met Lloyd.
And u Can just Call Ellvyra lvy, Lyra, Ella or whatever ig im still working on some of their designs so Yeahhh
