Iâm a regenerative gardener and community grower based in Coachella Valley, CA (Zone 10a)âwhere extreme heat and unexpected cold create one of the most challenging yet rewarding environments to grow in.
Through Femme Growtique, I teach local growers how to successfully grow crops, herbs, exotics, and ornamentals in the desert using organic, regenerative practicesâfocusing on soil health, scrap-based nutrition, and sustainable water management.
My goal is to help our community understand that desert living doesnât mean you canât grow abundance. I share tips on plant protection (from both heat and frost), composting, local food sovereignty, and growing with intention.
I believe growing is a form of healingâboth for ourselves and the land. Iâm not here for hype. Iâm here to help others grow with purpose, resilience, and respect for the environment.

Letâs be real about cloning.
If your setup is already missing the essentials â
no humidity dome, no heat mat, no consistent environment â
then running a high EC is only going to make it worse.
đ„ Temps going up and down?
đ«ïž Humidity dropping too fast?
đ± Clones still struggling to root?
And then you hit them with 2.0+ EC?
Youâre not feeding your plants â youâre frying them.
I saw it firsthand. The clones didnât root â they curled, stalled, or straight up died.
Hereâs what clones actually need:
âą Stable temps: 75â80°F
âą RH around 80â90%
âą EC between 0.4â0.6 while rooting
âą Gentle light (no intense LED burn)
âą Patience â not a full veg feed
Too many growers think more nutrients = faster growth.
But in cloning, less is more.
If your environment isnât dialed in, no nutrient mix can save your clones.
Stop copying random EC numbers online without understanding your setup.
Feed the stage, not your ego.

Some people confuse love with ownership. Donât let that be your story.
đ Time to protect
âšNot everything that feels like love is healthy.
Some behaviors are framed as âclosenessâ or âcareâ⊠but theyâre actually control in disguise.
đ§ I made this post as a gentle PSA â because too many people normalize these red flags. If youâve ever felt smothered, manipulated, or confused by someone who claims to love you⊠youâre not crazy.
â ïž These are signs of emotional enmeshment â not support.
Your peace matters more than keeping someone comfortable in their control.
đŹ Ever experienced this kind of behavior before? Comment âđ§±â if you had to build some boundaries lately.

They tried to silence me.
But you canât bury a voice rooted in truth.
You thought Iâd disappear? Nah.
I bloom under pressure.
Iâm not asking for your approval.
Iâm not waiting for your permission.
I protect plants and people â
whether you like it or not.
The blacklist means nothing when you grow your own lane.
I am the system now.

đš Tampering with safety documentation isnât just unethicalâitâs illegal.
California law (Cal/OSHA §14300.33) requires accurate safety records to be kept for 5 years.
If a company rewrites or destroys your report to cover their tracks, thatâs falsification of legal documents.
I kept my original.
OSHA and EDD received it.
The truth is documented and protected.
This isnât drama. This is accountability.

Tampered Truths: When Safety Reports Get Rewritten
Notice something off?
The date listed is incorrectâand the handwriting doesnât match mine.
This raises serious concerns that the report may have been altered after submission to support someone elseâs version of events.
If you ever document a workplace safety concern, keep your own copy and stay alert.
đ§ Tampering with reports isnât just unethicalâitâs dangerous.
Protect your truth. Stay observant.

đ§Ș Chemical Incident Truth đ§Ș
Letâs be real.
You shouldnât be fired for documenting a chemical exposure incidentâespecially when no one sat you down for a proper discussion.
Instead, they grouped their favorites, twisted your concern into drama, and even had someone lie and claim you forced them to sign a report.
Thatâs wildâbecause I told them clearly:
âYou donât have to sign. Just read it. If I made a mistake, Iâll fix it. I refuse to lie on an OSHA report.â
Thatâs called integrity. Not everyone has it.
And if your boss can flip you off, yell âF**k you,â and try to push you outâ
Itâs not leadership.
Itâs harassment hiding under a name tag.
đ Maybe companies should start offering real training:
âą OSHA compliance
âą Chemical safety
âą Professional boundaries
âą Leadership 101
Not everyoneâs ready to be a supervisor just because they clock in.

Iâve seen safety laws get broken quietly, repeatedly, and without consequence.
Thatâs why I didnât just study how to grow plants.
I studied how to protect the people growing them.
This isnât just content. This is real.
Real experiences. Real risk. Real silence.
And Iâm done watching it get normalized.
đ OSHA and Plant Science werenât random for me â
They were survival.

When the address is fake, so is the trust.
Training videos and HR binders mean nothing if the companyâs not honest about where the real work happens.
If your workplace is listed at one address but operates out of another, thatâs not just shady â it could mean theyâre dodging accountability, inspections, and legal obligations.
đ”đœââïž I didnât start studying OSHA to be silenced. I studied it because Iâve seen what happens when workers get misled, injured, and ignored.
Safety isnât a performance. Itâs a promise.
And if the paperwork lies, who else is being lied to?

When you sign a treaty â you honor it.
Some casinos told the government theyâd follow federal law, not state law.
But what happens when they follow neither?
â ïž OSHA is federal law.
Itâs not optional. Itâs not a loophole. Itâs a contract.
This post isnât about one job â itâs about a pattern of silence, shortcuts, and betrayal that puts real people at risk.
I studied OSHA for a reason.
To protect whatâs growing â and whoâs growing it. đ±âïž
