The K.A.P.S. Disaster Hub Kids Channel is an educational channel dedicated to helping families, students, and communities learn how to prepare for disasters and understand the science behind weather, climate, and environmental hazards. Hosted by Dr. Joy, a community educator, and Al the Bear, the channel transforms complex topics into engaging lessons that are easy to understand for learners of all ages. Through animated lessons, demonstrations, and interactive activities, viewers explore topics such as weather patterns, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, extreme temperatures, and emergency preparedness. Each video is designed to build knowledge, confidence, and practical skills that help individuals and households become more resilient before, during, and after disasters.
