Alex Kinchen released ‘Better’ his 3rd single after Boost a song produced by IKEK and co-written by Love x Stereo Annie Ko in May 2025. This was 4 weeks before ALLDAY PROJECT.

Hey K-Pop community this is why I say know about Alex even though your not his fan because many artist are stealing or sampling his words or concepts.

Yes , I do know Alex was offered a distribution deal with YG Plus.

ALLDAY PROJECT released ‘Famous’ today June 16 KST. The song hits hard and is very well produced.

Unfortunately I didn’t like the stolen lyrics around 1:45~1:51 performed by Woochan sparks concerns to me. Woochan is a South Korean rapper under The Black Label.

YG Plus has been dead lately, two years ago they started showing some YG Plus artist on YG Entertainment but after there teasers it's still a waiting game. I really loved it a lot ! FIRE AND HEART originated from the illustrator and author Alex Kinchen in 2001-2005 , It was his first noticeable appearance before his K-Pop fan art on YouTube.
Alex revealed after being a little bit more known discussed on a YouTube video about being a former traniee at MNET Media before removing the video due to negative publicity. If we try to upload it’s immediately taken down by YouTube.

In 2019 Alex announced that he would be trying music again.

#FIREANDHEART has appeared in 800+ videos now

We predicted this right. Many K-Pop artist are not only sampling FIRE and HEART but incorporating it into there main theme for their music careers.

Unfortunately #AlexKinchen has removed most of his comics offline and we are not sure why? Alex announced that he will be releasing them for his upcoming K-Pop concept album Fire and Heart B-Side.

Do you think YG Entertainment or the idols just sampled his characters and concepts or bought the rights for them?

Alex also was offered a partnership with YG Plus and mixtape in 2020 , and is set to release something this year 2025.

Firstly I would like to say that when artist are not popular with international fans they are usually more so with Korean citizens.

In my observation ;Lee Michelle YouTube and Instagram has about 80% Korean audience response, Han Hyun Min and now Alex as well.

Alex Kinchen (Born 28, February 1990), known mononymously as Álex or (Korean: 봉황) meaning “The Phoenix”. Often written as ÁLEX (봉황), is an Half Asian American pop , electronic deep house singer and former K-Pop digital fan artist. Who has received mostly negative criticism for his rise on Instagram and trying to break into the Korean music industry.

A fan of Alex known as CosmoTim has started an artist talk about the theories behind Alex Kinchen followers on instagram and subscribers on YouTube.

First I want to say that Alex has been creating fan artist since 2007 , which makes him 17 years into the K-Pop , and fan art scene.

This is not including his also rumored In Summer 2005, Alex was recruited at age 15 by Mnet Media, and trained under South Korean record label Mnet Media, the former name of Stone Music Entertainment. He parted ways with CJ E&M as a recording artist but signed and remained under its DIA TV creative department.

In 2019 he announced on YouTube that he will return to music. With the help of many friends and resources he has gained from being a traniee. He also has said many times that he was a student but never a rookie debuting artist.

Last year ; Alex ‘ FIRE And HEART Prerelease’ A-Side came out entirely on Friday, October 13 2024 , as a digital release. With about seven tracks.

On November 6, at 6pm EST ;
ALEX (봉황) {Alex Kinchen} has mentioned electronic pop duo Love X Stereo Annie Ko and IKEK @ Equal Studio as hashtags for his first teaser image title track Boost.

Love X Stereo has worked with another talented Hapa with a similar name… AleXa.

Boost will be the first single to his most anticipated mega Korean collaborators B-Side to FIRE And HEART prerelease.

Equal Studios have worked with K-Pop artist ; not limited to ARTBEAT v, IZONE , Blue D. , and CSR.
I’m really happy to hear about ‘Boost’ before the end of the year.

I just watched ITZY’s new teaser for the upcoming music video ‘Imaginary Friend’. I enjoyed it very much. It’s dark energy and calm colors is so similar to Seulgi music video for 28 Reasons.

As 2024 is coming to an end, I know something new will be revealed about Fire and Heart, they have been doing this for years. Many labels have been teasing us with similar stories and costumes from Alex Kinchen supernatural comics. But , Why?

Who is Alex Kinchen ? , Often written as ÁLEX (봉황), is an Asian American singer, rapper, and digital artist based in South Korea. In Summer 2005, Alex was recruited at age 15 by Mnet Media, and trained under South Korean record label Mnet Media, the former name of Stone Music Entertainment. He parted ways with CJ E&M as a recording artist but remained under its creative department.

He later became a K-pop fan artist creating super photo realistic digital paintings.

Later in 2019 he announced coming back to K-Pop with his own label.

WINTER is a fictional character from Alex Kinchen webcomics FIRE AND HEART, in 2005 and Kim Min-jeong known professionally as Winter, is a South Korean singer and dancer of the talented AESPA.

Alex Kinchen became an Asian American comic book writer, illustrator before he was a K-Pop fan artist and a trainee from MNET Media. He grew little interest among K-Pop fans as mostly known for his photorealistic digital works.

When AESPA debuted in 2020 , the member WINTER gained interest as a perfect candidate for a live action role as Winter the fictional character of FIRE AND HEART.

Today I noticed a parallel character Whiplash ae-Winter teaser for an upcoming AESPA song.

[B]Back story of Alex and the Fire and Heart comics

Alex Kinchen (Born 28, February 1990), known mononymously as Álex or (Korean: 봉황) meaning “The Phoenix”. Often written as ÁLEX (봉황), is an Asian American singer, rapper, and digital artist based in South Korea.

On Friday, October 13, 2023, FIRE AND HEART (The Digital Pre-release cut) released through TuneCore. The B-Side will be released later in 2024, and it will be Alex Kinchen’s first debuting album into the K-pop genre produced by his self-owned record label Myths and Legends Records (MLUNIVERSE Record Label).

Career beginnings and CJ E&M recruitment
In June 2005, Alex was recruited in a shopping mall with his family in the United States during his summer break from school. This was the time of the pre-debut years of K-Pop group SeeYa. Alex presumed the recruiter’s idea to become a real idol, was a joke. Alex as a teenager suffered from shyness and the beliefs that he was not attractive.

“Just imagine the difficulty of becoming a singer overseas, the culture standards of attraction everywhere.” “I’m an artist, I draw.”

“l carried my art portfolio everywhere, it was a blessing to meet a CJ E&M recruiter, humorous as it was to know my artwork wasn’t my top talents or attributes.”

Unfortunately, CJE&M never got to the new recruits training or promotions, and many other recruited trainees around the time, due to a mega lawsuit against CJ E&M, forcing him to go into hiatus after his training ended in (2011-2012). CJ E&M Music (then Mnet Media) was one of the 15 companies fined and sued by the Korean FTC for price rigging in 2011.

On March 25, 2019, Alex Kinchen had an article on Allkpop an American website which features Korean pop and gossip news. The article was about him returning to the K-pop industry, after leaving CJ E&M as a former trainee in 2012. Many K-pop fans started to dislike Alex for randomly returning to an industry that they never knew he was a part of which started from envy and jealous malicious commenters.

Fire and Heart is a 2005 comic series created by Alex Kinchen that is highly rumored to have a soon live-action adaptation. Later on, June 16, 2019 Allkpop authors knewseoul had another article about a rumor of Alex being cameos in other music videos since 2009. A rumor K-Pop crossover film and or project featuring Alex as the main antagonist. Originally ‘FIRE and HEART’ featured Korean singers in a fantasy setting with crossovers into other labels worlds.

One of the lead characters who has many alternative names ÁLEX (봉황) or the Phoenix is an electrical-fire breathing vampire who became the stage alter ego name for Alex Kinchen.
