when Patreon asked if I'd like to be part of their group walking in the iconic Coney Island Mermaid Parade, I've absolutely never said yes faster.

not only because I knew it'd be a dream (a colorful, glittery, sweaty dream!!) but because my old 'reverse mermaid' costume from the last time I did the mermaid parade was still in my storage unit... from EIGHT years ago...

I created a FULL sewing pattern!!

inspired by the unbeatable colors of turn-of-the-millennium electronics, and my very real need for a travel sewing kit– the Retro Handheld Sewing Kit was born!

this pattern includes EVERYTHING you need to create your own:

I was going to write a cute little infographic post about how 2025 was the year I flopped and crashed out. and then how I rebuilt into what ended up being the best year I’ve ever had. 2025 changed my life, and I am a fundamentally different, better artist now than I was a year ago.
