A lot of people have been taught that tarot is supposed to be about predicting the future.

It isn’t.

And tarot readers who build their entire platform around future predictions aren’t doing real tarot at all. They’re selling dependency, fantasy, and the illusion that your life is already written.

The future isn’t fixed.

Your future is shaped by the decisions you make, the actions you take, and the things you avoid, ignore, or refuse to deal with.

That means no tarot reader can tell you your future like it’s set in stone, because your choices are still part of the equation.

Real tarot is not about handing your power over to fate.

Real tarot is about helping you reconnect with your power.

It helps you see:

- the truth of the situation
- the patterns at play
- what’s happening beneath the surface
- what needs to be acknowledged clearly now

Why?

Because when you can see clearly, you can choose differently.

And those choices are what shape your future.

That’s the difference.

Fake tarot tries to make you dependent on “what’s going to happen.”

Real tarot helps you understand what *IS* happening, so you can respond consciously and change the direction of your life.

Tarot is a mirror.

Not a magic window you look through to see the future.

Not a script written somewhere in the sky.

Not a substitute for personal responsibility.

If a reader keeps teaching you to look outside yourself for the answer, you’re not being empowered...

You’re being robbed of your own agency.

One of the reasons I made If I Were The Devil is because I think a lot of spiritually hungry people have been put inside systems that keep them seeking without ever really letting them arrive.

Not because they’re weak.

Not because they’re foolish.

But because the language, promises, and emotional rewards can be powerful enough to make distortion feel sacred.

That’s what makes this so serious.

When confusion gets called depth...
When dependency gets called guidance...
When passivity gets called surrender...
When every disappointment gets reinterpreted as “part of the path”...

People can stay trapped for years without realizing the framework itself is part of the problem.

That’s a big part of what this video is trying to expose.

There’s a kind of spiritual confusion that doesn’t come from a lack of sincerity.

It comes from sincerity being exploited.

That’s what I think a lot of people are actually dealing with right now.

They’re not foolish for wanting something deeper.

They’re not weak for being spiritually hungry.

They’re not stupid for hoping that what feels intense might also be true.

The real problem is that entire frameworks can grow around that hunger and start feeding it in distorted ways.

So instead of helping people become clearer, calmer, more grounded, and more honest with themselves, those frameworks train them to:

- keep seeking
- keep waiting
- keep decoding
- keep depending
- keep calling confusion “depth” and delay “divine timing”

That is a very different problem than “some people give bad advice online”.

And it’s one of the reasons the direction of my work has been getting much sharper.
