Anbernic is surprisingly proving itself to be one of those rare companies that not only listens to its customers, but also listens to the communities that are being built around their products. Not only did they listen to the complaints about the RGDS, they took into consideration the improvements and upgrades that were made via the modding communities.

Anbernic just released a Linux firmware for the RGDS. With an interface similar to some of their previous Linux-based handhelds, only this version utilizes the dual displays of the RGDS. Now while you are sacrificing some of the unique Android features of the console, you're getting a much better gaming experience. And in my opinion, is a fair trade off. The best part about all of this? It is that you don't have to give up the stock Android firmware.

You simply flash it to an SD card using Etcher, Rufus, or any of the other flashing tools that are out there. Pop it into the RGDS and you're ready to go. Once you want to go back to the Android firmware, pull the SD card out and reboot.

Nintendo has been on the war path again. I knew I would eventually be on their radar. Been working on an upcoming video that I’m going to have to make some major edits to, and debating if I should edit and re-upload the ones that got banned. Nonetheless I will continue to bring you guys the best content I possibly can. Screw Nintendont.
