We live in a world where many legal and financial rules are built around fiction — constructed forms and assumed identities — rather than substance.

One of the tools people use to regain clarity and control is something called a UCC filing (Uniform Commercial Code).

What is a UCC filing, in plain terms?

Think of it as a formal notice that your real self has a claim over an artificial identity (often referred to as your “strawman” or legal persona).

When you file under the UCC, you are asserting a security interest over that constructed entity.

In simple terms: you’re telling the system, “I claim this thing that’s been treated as me.”

Why does it matter now?

Over the last century, laws were changed, and systems put in place, which blurred the line between you as a human being and you as a legal fiction.

Registrations like birth certificates, titles, licenses — these are treated as “paper” claims.
Once those claims are in the hands of governments or courts, they can act against that legal fiction, not against you.
Without a counter-claim, your real self is muted in many legal and financial spaces.
How the UCC shifts things

By filing a UCC Financing Statement, supported by a Security Agreement, you are registering your claim against that artificial entity (the “debtor/person”).

This step puts your interest in the legal world on record. It’s a standard tool in commercial law — and once it’s in place, many other claims against that artificial identity must reckon with it.

It’s not a magic wand. But for people who understand the system, the UCC filing is one of the foundational moves toward restoring clarity and sovereignty.
