Good afternoon my friends,
This past November we were planning to take WWII veteran Louis Stoel back to Italy to see the battlefields where he fought 80 years ago. Unfortunately, at the last moment Louis health declined and he was not able to make the trip.
We decided since Louis couldn’t go we would bring Italy to him. You can see in the video below and hope you enjoy this new production.

How many of you have seen this photograph before?

Next Saturday our newest video will go live! This photograph is part of a photo and film series shot by several Signal Corps Photographers on Omaha Beach. The film footage has been widely used in various documentaries about the Normandy Invasion, but this footage was not taken on June 6, 1944!

Find out more next week. If you'd like to see a preview of the original film footage, check out our Patreon page and support the channel: www.patreon.com/SNAFUDOCS

Hello all! For some reason our latest video has gotten exceptional less views than our other videos. We have no idea why this is the case. We assume the Pacific Theater is not as interesting as the European Theater. In case you haven't watched it, please check out our latest video about the Flag Raising on Iwo Jima: https://youtu.be/m1Drjfs9dkg

At the age of six, Victor Yansenne, saw a US B-24 Liberator crash just outside his hometown of La Fosse, Belgium on December 25, 1944. He saw two parachutes coming down to earth just moments before the crash. He assumed the other crew members died as the aircraft exploded just before hitting the ground. Victor spent the rest of his life trying to identify the crew. His only goal was that these men would not be forgotten.

Our brand new 60-minute documentary about Victor's journey to fulfill his goal will be released on our SNAFU DOCS YouTube Channel on December 24, 2021
