Hi, Welcome to my YouTube channel. I upload on a regular weekly basis Classic Mini related videos and workshops. I currently own three Classic Minis, a very rare 1997 Rover Mini Cooper Sport 5, Rover Mini Cooper MPI 1997, and a 1994 Rover Mini Sprite which I have modified extensively restored over the last 7 years including converting the engine to a 1.6 lite 8v C16SE from a Vauxhall Astra GLSi with a 5 speed gearbox.
I have owned Classic Minis for nearly 30 years and have picked up some great tips and learnt some valuable lessons along the way which I am more than happy to share with you. I am lucky enough to have owned several Mini Coopers and two ultra rare UK Spec ERA Turbo Minis.
I attend many Mini events throughout the year and am Vice Chairman of Brighton Mini Club. I enjoy helping others time permitting and have been involved in some very exciting Mini based project recently.

🔧 New Video Tonight – 18:30!
Tonight I’m taking apart the differential from my Classic Mini Super City gearbox to see what’s actually going on inside.
The gearbox has only done around 30,000 miles, but when you’re rebuilding one of these it’s always the unknowns that worry you… so the diff had to come apart!
👀 Bearings, planetary gears, thrust washers – we’re checking it all.
Question for you Mini experts:
Would you strip a 30k mile gearbox, or would you have just left it alone?

I could’ve replaced the front panels on the Super City Mini…
but I didn’t.
Instead, I cut out the rust, rebuilt the seams properly, and saved the original factory metal 🔧
No bodges. No filler hiding problems.
