Faith Academy is a private Christian school located in southeast Iowa City, Iowa. Our mission is to provide a rigorous, Christ-centered, and affordable education to scholars in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade in the Iowa City area.

As we wrap up another incredible school year at Faith Academy, we're grateful for the many memories made this spring!
From our 5th grade trip to the State Capitol, adventures at Wetherby Park, Outdoor Adventure Club, and special celebrations like the middle school girls' nail painting party, to end-of-year awards and the graduation of our Kindergarten and 8th grade scholars—God has been faithful through it all.
Thank you to our amazing scholars, supportive families, dedicated staff, and faithful community partners who make Faith Academy such a blessed place. Your encouragement, service, prayers, and support help make these experiences possible.

🏃♂️🏃♀️ What a great night at the Live Healthy Iowa Track Meet in Vinton!
Our scholars earned many 1st and 2nd place finishes, but we were most proud of how they encouraged, prayed for, and supported one another throughout the meet 🙏💙

This Spring, there was so much fun at Faith Academy that we weren't able to post it all! Over the next couple days, we will be sharing lots of photos from our last few weeks of school 💙
First up, shoutout to our Future Problem Solving scholars for their performance at the State Bowl in Pella. The team of Israel, Fifa, and Joyce competed very well! Charite (Faith Academy 7th grade) won first place in the storytelling competition, and will move on to Internationals this summer. Way to go scholars!

🍫✨ Sweet learning in action! Our 4th grade scholars wrapped up their Charlie and the Chocolate Factory unit by becoming real-life chocolatiers—creating their own homemade chocolate bars and designing unique wrappers for their brands! 🎨🍬
From imaginative flavors to eye-catching packaging, their creativity truly shined. Huge shoutout to Mr. Scott for leading such a fun and engaging experience! 👏📚

Faith Academy
Our Middle School Choir visited the Krapf Organ at St. Andrew Church on Friday, March 13. After briefly learning about pipe organs and hearing Mr. Penning play, scholars had an opportunity to ask questions and play the instrument themselves.
The organ was rescued from the 2008 flood that devastated the University of Iowa music facility. A pizza lunch and opportunity to sing in the sanctuary followed.
Thank you to Bobby Cole for driving us, Aliyah Coleman for accompanying us, and St. Andrew for hosting us!

Faith Academy Board President Jill Schlott was asked to speak with Governor Kim Reynolds in Des Moines Tuesday!
The Governor was speaking out in support of Parental Choice in Education and Jill was asked to speak about how ESAs have given parents at Faith Academy access to educational choices that they didn't have before. We are so grateful for this opportunity to share about our school and mission!
