There, we see them go back and forth, with Angad humiliating Ravan. We then see Ravan boast about his own strength as the conversation goes on.

यह भजन महाबली हनुमान जी को समर्पित है। महाबली हनुमान वैसे तो भगवान शिव के ग्यारहवें रुद्र हैं, परम बलवान हैं, बुद्धिमान हैं, वेगवान हैं परंतु बाल्यकाल में उद्दंडता के परिणाम स्वरूप मिले श्राप के कारण अपना वास्तविक बल भूले रहते हैं। यद्यपि हनुमान जी का अवतार राम जी के काम के लिए ही हुआ है तथापि सीता जी की खोज में निकले हनुमान जी अपना बल भूले हुए हैं। संपाती गिद्ध द्वारा सीता जी का पता पाकर भी सौ योजन चौड़ा सागर पार करके लंका जाकर सीता जी की दशा और संदेश लाने में कोई समर्थ नहीं है, यह काम हनुमान जी ही सफलतापूर्वक कर सकते हैं परंतु वह अपना बल भूले हुए हैं।
