Insights on learning, sensemaking, research, and building a body of work that reflects what you actually know.

The Thinking Channel, by Bianca Pereira

Enrollments in the FREE version of the course are closing in a few hours.

So if you are a deep thinker who:

- Feels like you speak in disconnected fragments when expressing your thoughts,
- Lose yourself on a tangent when making a point,
- Never know whether you should go into more details or fewer details when explaining your thinking,
- See so many ways to explain a given idea that you don't even know where to start, or
- See your inner critic taking over and destroying your presentation, even though you had everything ready.

This course is for you.

The course is free. All I ask is that you provide feedback about the course along the way and a testimonial at the end.

We already have 132 people inside. If you want to join us, the time is now.

We tend to believe we can't do anything in just 15 minutes. Yet, here is how life can change in such a short time.

I have been inviting people who answered my Clarity Survey to meet me for an interview.

My goal is to understand the challenges they face when explaining their ideas.

At the end of each interview, I offer a 15-min exercise they can do on their own.

In a recent interview, we had the opportunity to do the exercise together. Here was Sally's experience:

>>>In my first discussion with Bianca, she made sense of how I was feeling. There was a sense she really understood me, which was so reassuring. She took me through a technique verbally, and within 10 minutes, I had lightbulb moments of how my explaining had changed.

>>>To be honest, I left the call feeling lighter, happier, more confident, and more positive about possibilities moving forward. I am excited to work even further with Bianca.

In 15 minutes (10 actually!), she gained a completely different perspective on how her explanations could improve.

And the exercise was simple:

1. Think out loud for 5 minutes (whatever you want to explain, in whatever order it comes to mind). Only step when the 5-minute alarm sounds.
2. Explain again what you just said.
3. Explain, yet again, what you just said.

That's the Think Out Loud Loop — the simplest exercise you can do.

The exercise is powerful, but what makes the real difference is not the exercise alone.

It was the feedback I provided by listening to Sally and noticing the change in her explanation from one step to the next 😉

You can do the exercise by yourself. But if you want to see what the feedback part looks like, join my upcoming course (link in the description).

Enrollments close this weekend.

I am looking for people who think deeply, love learning, and are always coming up with new insights, but who struggle to organise and express the depth and nuance of their thinking.

If this sounds like you, please let's chat at: tally.so/r/obRO8P

Please do not polish your answers or try to “be nice.” I want to read your unedited opinion.
