State law enforcement agents raided the Zavala County Sheriff’s Office earlier today, confiscating Sheriff Eusevio Salinas’ cell phone and the phone of a staff member, according to sources. (SBG San Antonio)

CRYSTAL CITY, Texas - State law enforcement agents raided the Zavala County Sheriff’s Office earlier today, confiscating Sheriff Eusevio Salinas’ cell phone and the phone of a staff member, according to sources.

Sources said the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Rangers carried out the raid. Neither agency has shared the reason for the raid.

Agents also raided a woman’s home in Crystal City in connection with the investigation. No additional details were immediately available.

This is a developing story.

KSAT NEWS REPORTS: Search warrant executed at Maverick County DA’s home, records show. At this time, it is unclear why law enforcement wanted access to Roberto Serna’s property.

MAVERICK COUNTY, Texas – Law enforcement executed a search warrant earlier this month at the home of Maverick County District Attorney Roberto Serna, according to records obtained by KSAT Investigates.

According to the search warrant, which was signed by a judge on Feb. 10, investigators were looking for Serna’s electronic devices.

The warrant does not explain why law enforcement wanted access to Serna’s property, or what was seized.

KSAT Investigates reached out to Serna and his office Wednesday afternoon. Serna directed us to his attorney, Gerry Goldstein, who told KSAT on Wednesday he is in the process of filing motions and “will do my speaking in court, if there is one.”

Serna was re-elected to serve as 293rd Judicial District Attorney in 2024.

forward." Is the name of the YouTube video posted by KSAT NEWS. An interview with Monica Godess Ortiz who is the mother of "ANDREW REYNA" who was 31 years of age and who lost his life after being struck twice by 2 vehicles. The first vehicle who didn't stop and kept going making this a HIT AND RUN. The driver being reportedly in a white SUV or Truck.

If you are in San Antonio, Texas. this hit and run incident occurred on November 19, 2025 in the area of Old Highway 90 and Suzette Rd. Not far from Pinn Road. This is the West side of San Antonio. If you know anyone who has a crashed vehicle that is a white SUV or TRUCK please do the right thing and find out what you can. We are first asking that if you are the DRIVER that took off from the accident to please come forward and turn yourself in.

Because running from this and hiding your vehicle or destroying it is only going to get you in more trouble and more time.

In the meantime we are also asking for anyone having information on the whereabouts of the Driver and their vehicle to please do the right thing and submit a tip. What if this was your family member that it had happened to. Your tip can be anonymous.
