This is Part 5 of our Iceland adventure series. Iceland has been a dream destination of mine for many years, and as someone who studied geology, experiencing this incredible country in person has been nothing short of magical. Every day here feels like stepping into a different world, where glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, caves, and hot springs come together to create some of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth.
In today's episode, we head to West Iceland and explore some truly amazing places:
Þvottahellir (Wash Cave) – An ancient cave along the trail to Glymur, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, rivers, and fascinating geological history.
Glymur Waterfall– The second-highest waterfall in Iceland, hidden deep inside a spectacular canyon. Join us as we hike through rugged volcanic terrain and witness one of Iceland's most impressive natural wonders.
Reykjadalur Hot Spring Valley – One of Iceland's most famous free natural hot springs. After a scenic hike through a geothermal valley filled with steam vents and bubbling springs, we relax in a naturally heated river surrounded by stunning mountain views.
