Every video on this channel comes from genuine passion for Star Wars Legends; its tone, philosophy, characters, politics, and the weight the old EU gave its universe. I create these videos because I love this era and want to bring it to life in a way that feels cinematic, grounded, and worthy of the stories that shaped us.
But none of this is random.
The pacing, voice direction, visual identity, structure, upload rhythm, and character choices are all part of a long‑term plan. I’m building something that can scale into a full cinematic archive of Legends storytelling; a place where the EU is treated with seriousness and atmosphere.
Every video is made with passion, but the channel itself is built with strategy.

Next Up Tomorrow: Thrawn Explains How He Would Reforge Imperial Doctrine
The first Thrawn Explains the Vong video was based on Thrawns single encounter with a Yuuzhan Vong scout craft; the little he could learn from that moment, and the fact that it was only one encounter. It would be jumping far too quickly to assume he understood the scale of the threat or how to counter it. He was not omnipotent and he clearly made mistakes.
The next video follows on from that briefing, not because Thrawn gained enough information to counter the Vong, but because that encounter forced him to recognise how unprepared the Empire was for truly unknown enemies. This is my take on the logical steps he might consider after victory over the New Republic. How he could rebuild Imperial doctrine to face threats the Empire is not currently built for..

I managed to get Isard to have the correct eyes. The problem is it will not maintain it whilst animated and they go black, will try a couple more fixes but this Isard is probably not going to have the correct eyes.

From well known characters to obscure rebel agents from WEG history..All being judged from a secret Imperial base located under the surface of Coruscant...
Loor always prided himself on looking similar to Tarkin in both height and facial structure, as well as being a sycophant, a bully and a coward; not worthy of shining Tarkins boots...

Having a few technical problems with my Thrawn voice that will take a few days to resolve, the next episode in Thrawn Explores i will bring elements i had planned for later, where the back stories of some of the new characters, like Vesh and Serris Ardin are fleshed out. I will also introduce the Chiss political landscape a bit earlier than planned.

Hey everyone,
Thank you for the incredible support on the Thrawn series. The growth has been amazing. To protect the long term future of this channel and the series, I am making an important adjustment starting with the next upload. I am removing all character movement and cinematic animated scenes. Going forward, the videos will continue to use premium talking visuals with rich, living backgrounds, moving holomaps, and ambient motion will stay while keeping the same atmosphere you enjoy. Nothing about the storytelling is changing. The dialogue, strategy, lore depth, and tone will stay exactly the same. If anything, it will be even more focused. This change ensures the channel can continue safely and consistently for a very long time.
I have also launched a new channel, Chris Talks History, where I can keep the entire cinematic tone with movement and big visuals with zero restrictions. If you enjoy my storytelling style (think HBO Rome or GOT style intrigue with thrawn style strategy and political analysis; but my own take on what happened, you will probably love it).
