Courage Is Containment, Not Force
Courage isn’t about pushing through fear aggressively.
That’s survival mode. And we have all been there and done that. Many, many times.
True courage is containment — staying present with discomfort without abandoning yourself.
When you rush, override, or pressure yourself, fear escalates.
When you stay grounded, fear loses leverage.
Courage says:
“I can stay with this.”
Mini Exercise: Courage Check-In
Ask yourself:
Where do I tense when fear shows up?
What would staying present look like instead?
What support do I need to remain grounded here?
Anchor Reminder:
“I don’t need to overpower fear to move forward.”
