The United States legally permits child marriage in the majority of its states. Child marriage, defined as any union where at least one party is under 18, remains legal in 33 to 37 states (depending on the source's cutoff date) through legal loopholes such as parental or judicial consent.
Between 2000 and 2021, nearly 315,000 children were legally married in the U.S., with the vast majority being girls married to adult men. Advocates argue these laws effectively legitimize statutory rape by providing a legal marriage exception to age-of-consent laws.
Some people and governments are truly FKN sick in the head.

As a re-registered “No Preference Party” I received my nonpartisan ballot and I have decided to write in William Gude for Los Angeles mayor aka Streets LA@FilmThePoliceLA @Scientology_Audit .
Whether people agree with him or not, William has spent years documenting police activity, protests, community issues, and what’s happening on the streets of Los Angeles. He’s brought attention to police accountability, civil rights concerns, homelessness, and public safety conversations that many residents feel are ignored.
He’s also been controversial at times. Critics have accused him of escalating tensions with law enforcement, and he has faced arrests and criticism connected to his activism. Supporters argue he challenges systems that need oversight, while critics believe his methods can be confrontational.
Agree or disagree with him, one thing is clear: he’s been deeply involved in documenting Los Angeles and engaging with issues affecting the city and that’s what is important to me.
I have yet to find any verified dirt on him. If there is, and specifically DV, then I will quickly withdraw any support. But for now, I think he truly is THE best candidate for the position of Mayor of Los Angeles.

In regard to the conviction and unfair AND excessive punishment of Aaron Smith Levin……. There is Sooooo much to say about this. Just to be clear, I absolutely do NOT like this guy at all. I think he’s a jerk, definitely 💯 a woman abuser no doubt about that. I had no issue and supported him prior to finding out about his abuse of women. HOWEVER, if anyone celebrates his excessive conviction, in my opinion, they celebrate Scientology. Were his actions considered an assault, yes I believe it was. Not in my eyes, but in the stupid eyes of the law. It’s fkn ridiculous. Any contact as tiny as it might look, it is still considered an assault regardless, unfortunately. This is a big win for Scientology. Without proof but in my opinion, it’s clear the judge and the rest were influenced by Scientology. This win makes Scientology much more powerful and will come for protesters with more power on their side. They hold the cards right now. - What ASL was slapped with was excessive and he should NOT be in jail right now. Careful out there when protesting this powerful cult. We know for a fact they have infiltrated the government in the past and most likely continue to do so today. If you’re out there protesting Scientology, be careful, be smart, and most importantly, be aware. FK SCIENTOLOGY!!! #scientology #scientology
