October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! This month, we’re celebrating the creativity, skill, and resilience that people with disabilities bring to every workplace and the progress being made toward more inclusive employment opportunities. 🌈💛
Here are some facts from 2024:
💪 22.7% of people with disabilities were employed — the highest rate ever recorded!
📈 Employment among people with disabilities has been steadily increasing year after year.
🌟 More companies are recognizing that accessibility and flexibility aren’t just “nice to have” — they help everyone thrive.
These numbers show progress but also the work that remains. Accessibility, inclusion, and equitable hiring practices matter now more than ever. NDEAM is about breaking barriers, expanding opportunity, and celebrating ability.
