The Party Is Full

The Party Is Full is a long-form conversation series about how games are actually built. Hosted by Alessandro Penno a.k.a. “Gengis,” a product manager with experience at Electronic Arts and on Old School RuneScape at Jagex, the show is about sitting down with people from across the games industry to talk honestly about the work behind the games we play.

Episodes unpack design, production, player behavior, and careers across generations of game development. The goal is to connect past and present, sharing real lessons from people who have been there so the next generation can better understand the industry, learn from what came before, and start finding their own path into games.

The Party Is Full

so I hit 1000 subscribers yesterday. honestly kind of surreal.

when I started The Party Is Full Podcast almost exactly a year ago, I just wanted to have meaningful conversations about games, creativity, online worlds, and the people building them. I didn’t expect we’d already be approaching Episode #40.

huge thank you to every guest who has taken the time to share their experiences, stories, and lessons with me. From designers, artists, producers, engineers, founders, audio experts, streamers, creators, and product leaders across the games industry, the generosity and openness from everyone who’s come on the show has genuinely blown me away.

thank you to everyone watching, commenting, sharing clips, sending messages, and supporting the journey. Whether you found the podcast through a short, your home feed, or a random recommendation, you’ve helped turn this into a real community. I read every comment and the positive support from all over the world has truly kept me going on days where it felt hardest.

We’re only getting started.

Episode #40 is around the corner. More conversations. Bigger ideas. More behind the scenes insight into how games are actually made.

Thank you for being here ❤️
