March 20th, marks the Spring Equinox and the official start of Aries season!
In astrology, this is considered the real New Year.
The moment the sun moves into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, a brand new astrological cycle begins. Honestly… it never made sense to me that we set goals in the middle of winter in January.
Winter always feels like a time for resting, reflecting and going inward. Spring feels like the true beginning 🌷

(*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ🌸 Back in 2023, my husband Dean and I took our first dream trip to Japan. Whilst we were there, we visited Nara Park.
The deer in Nara Park are considered sacred in Japanese Shinto belief, where they were once thought to be messengers of the gods. Today, around 1,200 wild sika deer live freely in the park and are protected as a National Natural Monument.
They’re famous for bowing to visitors - a behaviour they learned because people feed them special deer crackers called Shika Senbei. 🦌
Dean and I enjoyed getting up close and personal, even if they did nibble on my dress and basically charge at us for the crackers lol…
When I came back, I felt so inspired that I started designing my very own little chubby deer… and that’s how Cinnamon was born.
Then two years later, in 2025, the first Cinnamon comfort character plushie keychain was released!
🥹 They sold out so fast we couldn’t believe it! And now 250 more are coming back this Sunday.
I hope one day I get to return to Nara to see the deer again.
But this time, I want to bring Cinnamon with me…
so I can introduce them to the tiny friend they inspired, from a little character dreamt up all the way across the world in England. ✨

🤍 (｡•́︿•̀｡) 💭 Sometimes things don’t go to plan. 2025 taught me that the goals you set can take a very different turn… and that’s okay.
✨ At the start of last year, I was ready to scale and grow in a big way, but looking back at what truly brings me joy, I realised I wanted something slower, softer, and more creative ( ´▽｀ ) 🌿
( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ) ✨ So as I enter 2026, I’m choosing a gentler path. No studio, a move to the countryside, more time to create, and limited, special little releases made with love.
💭 I don’t have it all figured out, and that can feel scary, but deep down I know this is the right next step.
🤍 Thank you to every Marshie, collector, supporter, and kind soul following along. I can’t wait to bring you with me into this next chapter.
