Sterling On Sinemas
he/him

Welcome to Sterling On Sinemas: I have felt gravitated towards movies since I was a baby, but I never understood why beyond just loving it. After so many years in school, being asked what I want to do for a living was a trick question. I never thought that doing anything movie related was a job, so I came up with every possible alternative that interested me. Then, one day I had this moment of realization that the thing I loved to do all my life was talk about movies and I would eventually start doing that on my YouTube channel. However, being a movie commentator was not going to be enough so I dug deeper by vesting interest into being a part of filmmaking. On March 13, 2022, God spoke to me and said that he wants me to go into the industry keeping my love for movies, but expressing a stronger love in spreading the Gospel. I pray that my calling into the industry will harvest into one crew member at a time. ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡

I just came from the watching the live-action How To Train Your Dragon, and there is nothing I can say about this remake that was not already said about the animated classic. In summary, Director Dean DeBlois (who directed the original film) does an exceptional job recreating the magic that made us fall in love with the unbreakable bond of Hiccup and Toothless, the Isle of Berk, and of course, DRAGONS!!!! The only other comments I can add to this movie is everything pertaining to the production design, the nuances of certain dialogue and character moments, and how each cast member genuinely gives a fresh take on their respective characters, especially Gerard Butler and Mason Thames. If you would like a refresher on how I felt about the original film, you can find it under the DreamWorks Animation playlist.
