The Hidden Histories Collective

The Hidden Histories Collective (HHC) is an independent think tank and educational platform focused on archival truth, legal classification, and historical misattribution. At HHC, we uncover hidden histories and genealogical connections through meticulous research, interviews, and compelling presentations. By combining historical context with detailed genealogical analysis, we bring untold stories to light and provide a richer understanding of America's collective past.

The Hidden Histories Collective

It started with questions, at first. Things I needed to say before they disappeared from memory.

I was a bit provocative and bold. Self-censorship was not an option.

Over time, I realized all these topics needed structure. The channel couldn't be sustained with commentary alone.

I needed receipts, research, and a community that knew more than I did.

Three years later, the platform has grown substantially. Just last week, we surpassed 8,000 subscribers! One presentation and family story at a time.

As a filmmaker and genealogist, I have discovered the most powerful stories aren't found on a movie set. But in census records, archives, newspaper clippings, and oral histories waiting to be found.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey!

Shout out to all my beautiful cousins for expanding the dream.

More to come...

If we now understand that many of us are Indigenous to this land, should we accept being folded into a council that aligns our interests with Africa?

Our new video presentation "African-American or Indigenous? This Bill Could Decide" drops this week!

The siblings of George Washington (1732-1799): Elizabeth "Betty" Washington Fielding (1733-1797) and Samuel Washington (1734-1781), George's younger brother. Once you see the melanin, you can't unsee it.

"Only Elizabeth--or "Betty"--of Washington's sisters grew to womanhood, and it is said that she was so striking like her brother that, disguised with a long cloak and a military hat, the difference between them was scarcely detectable." -- George Washington, A historical Biography by Horace Elisha Scudder (1924)

"Fifty-four emigrants, and one cabin passenger, also died. And the rest were in such condition, as to be totally unfit for market. Such were the dreadful consequences which ensued from the WHITE SLAVE TRADE, carried on between this country and America." - Published on Tuesday, June 15, 1784 in Edinburgh Advertiser, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland

Wouldn't this statement also apply to all the "African slaves" that were shipped to North America? The truth is right in our faces.
