Space Marine 2 June community update is here!

Year 3 content:

Two new weapons:
- Absolvor Bolt Pistol, which will be the signature weapon of the upcoming new class. (Chaplain, Apothecary or something else maybe?)

- One-Handed Thunder Hammer. While devs mentioned a few months ago that the Greatsword was the priority for a new melee archetype, plans have changed (though perhaps it is still coming?).

Two new Bosses will be added at the end of their respective Operation.

Heretics among you should be pleased as there will be more ways to play your Chaos Space Marines! You'll be able to play with characters that were once limited to PvP only, in a new Chaos "spin-off" of Siege Mode.

Year 3 will also receive its “Season Pass 3”. New Champion and Cosmetic packs will be added, representing new and returning Chapters.

The first Champion of the Year 3 will be a Wolf Guard Champion (with a classic Space Wolves round Stormshield), releasing in September.

Deathwatch Champion will also be featured in Year 3.

The Exorcists chapter will receive a Cosmetic Pack.

One of the Champion DLCs will be for the new class, the same way it was for the Techmarine class.


About Patch 14.0:

This new patch has a smaller scale compared to the 2 previous ones (because of much bigger Patch 15), but this update will still bring 2 new PvP maps:
Facility and Sanctum, respectively located on Demerium, and Avarax.

A new enemy will also be added for the Thousand Sons: the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer. This new Terminus enemy will be present in every Chaos Operation.

More Heroic weapon variants:
- Stalker Bolt Rifle
- Power Sword
- Power Fist
- 3 other heroic weapons (for a total of 6)

Patch also includes:
- The Salamanders Champion Pack 2, which will be a Heavy Champion, with a Salamanders themed Multi-Melta skin.

- The Raptors Cosmetic Pack which will include a Helmet, Chestplate, Right and Left Pauldrons, a Cloak, plus an additional Cloak variant covering the top of the backpack.

Steam players will have the opportunity to test it on the Public Test Server and provide feedback in early July.

Note that there exceptionally won’t be a community update in July, devs will return at the end of August for more news.

Community Event

A Community Event to earn 100 accolades is still ongoing for a few days! You have until July 1st to complete a total of 30 waves in Siege Mode on any difficulty (across any number of sessions) to earn 100 Accolades.

New games are coming to this channel this July!

- Doom: The Dark Ages – Revelations DLC will release on July 7, 2026
The Slayer is betrayed, wounded, and thrust into a merciless purgatory of his own mind. He must forge new strength with a help of a mysterious ally and glowing javelin to defeat a god-like abomination.

- Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced coming July 9, 2026
I'm not an assassin's creed fan, but this one looks interesting. This remake of the 2013 game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was developed in Ubisoft's in-house Anvil engine which is impressively advanced. If this game's not broken it will be my first finished game of the series.

- Halo: Campaign Evolved releases on July 28, 2026 (for PlayStation 5 too!)
Another remake on this list. Original Halo: Combat Evolved from 2001 is rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. Gorgeous visuals (at least silent cartographer mission according to early reviews) and 3rd person mode for second playthrough are included.

This incredible week is over! A lot of games were announced, got release dates or became available for pre-ordering. So I have to say goodbye to my backlog until second half of 2027 =)

Next stop is confirmed summer marketing campaign for GTA 6 starting late June or early July so stay tuned.

My personal GOTY of 2025 gets new story DLC this fall!

Summer Game Fest 2026 opened with the announcement of next Resident Evil remake, which is Resident Evil Veronica. Coming 2027.
