While this would be better suited for 'Rocket Summer' (and that's still a few weeks away), yesterday (Saturday, June 6th) I was able to check out a phenomenal collection of Star Wars-related creatures, costumes, droids, puppets, and props with my infinitely more talented better half who helped create (and in some cases, puppeteer) MANY of these things over the years for Legacy Effects. Seeing it all in one place was absolutely MIND BLOWING and a REAL testament to the incredible talent behind the scenes! Last night, I was at a cast and crew screening of 'The Mandalorian and Grogu' (wife worked on it) and I'm here to tell you that it is a LOT of fun! Don't go in expecting a big chapter in the Star Wars saga... This is very much another installment of 'The Mandalorian' series, so if you're a fan of the show, you're in for a big screen treat! In my last video, I mentioned that I had some stuff lined up and ready to roll, but sadly, a friend of mine passed away Saturday, my publisher launched a big Kickstarter on Tuesday that needed a lot of promotional material from me, and I had some other projects fall into my lap that required some long hours. Tomorrow, I'm driving out to Vegas to see Duran Duran again (yes, my wife and I are hopeless "Duranies") and I'm planning on hitting a couple more used book shops while we're there. Fingers crossed for a decent haul and some fun stories for NEXT week! See you then!!! "Vegas, baby! Vegaaaaaas!!!"
