The music of choir and organ is indeed most stirring. Though I am retired from weekly duties at church, I look forward with great anticipation to services of Sunday Choral Eucharist at the National Cathedral in D.C., St. Bart's and St. Thomas Church in Manhattan and, to hear what is happening throughout the country, services in Los Angeles, Chicago as well as my home town of Pittsburgh. This work by Gerald Finzi is a great setting of the Magnificat and has been a favorite of mine for more than 50 years!
