But while I celebrate this milestone, my heart aches for my island… The wildfires in my island have taken homes, memories, nature, and a piece of our soul. And yet, in the thick of smoke and fear, we stood together.
Not the government... but the people. Strangers became heroes..... Delivering food, water, clothes, opening their homes, and risking everything to fight the flames.
My island showed what real strength is...❕💪 ❤️
