UPDATE: This situation has devolved from mere incompetence into what looks like a blatant scam. After a full week of zero activity on my order, three ignored emails, and three phone calls, I finally cornered the owner or manager only for him to casually state, "I guess it's out of stock." It is absolutely inexcusable that they sat on my money for seven days knowing they had no product to ship, all while their system deceitfully claimed the order was "expected today or tomorrow, then showing it was delivered." To make matters worse, despite his verbal promise two hours ago to issue an immediate refund, I have seen exactly zero evidence of that transaction. I would not trust this company as far as I could throw their empty boxes—they are clearly comfortable taking customer's money for inventory they don't have and then lying about the resolution. They have one very short window to fix this before my bank and my entire platform across my website and YouTube channel make sure every person in the fragrance community knows exactly who and what JFragrance really is.

I’m posting this because people in the fragrance community deserve to know when an online order experience starts looking completely unacceptable. I placed Order #1412 on May 12 with JFragrance for two bottles of Maahir Legacy by Lattafa, and what I’ve gotten in return so far is frustration, confusion, and a total lack of confidence that this company is handling my order properly. What makes this worse is that the order status supposedly suggests expected delivery today or tomorrow , then their Shop app shows Delivered, yet it does not even appear that the order has actually been packaged or shipped. That is beyond sloppy.


The biggest issue here is not just delay — it’s the complete failure of communication. I called JFragrance directly to get answers yesterday, and during that phone call I was told I would get a callback within minutes. That callback never happened. If you’re going to take people’s money, then at the absolute minimum you should be able to give them a straight answer and follow through on a simple promise to call back. Instead, I was left chasing information about an order that should already be delivered.

At this point, I’m not just irritated — I’m seriously questioning whether this business is operating in a trustworthy way. When a company says delivery is right around the corner but there’s no clear sign the order has even shipped, customers are left to wonder what is really going on. Is the inventory real? Is the fulfillment process broken? Is customer service just telling people whatever will get them off the phone? I don’t know, but I do know that this experience has been bad enough to make me feel like I may have been taken advantage of.

Because of that, I’ve already moved to protect myself financially. I had my bank complete the refund process. I’m not going to sit around indefinitely while a company holds my money and offers nothing but vague status updates and broken promises. No customer should have to beg for basic accountability after placing and paying for an order.

As a member of the fragrance community I needed to share this experience, in the hopes it saves others from experiencing this kind of treatment! I want other buyers to decide for themselves whether they want to risk dealing with this kind of service. If a company can’t ship an order, can’t provide honest updates, and can’t even return a promised phone call, then people deserve to hear about it before spending their own money there.

To be clear, JFragrance still has the chance to fix this. Ship the order. Provide accurate tracking. Respond honestly. Do something that shows this business actually values its customers. But until that happens, my experience with JFragrance has been a mess — delayed, poorly communicated, and handled in a way that has completely destroyed my trust. Right now, from where I’m standing, this looks like one of the worst online fragrance buying experiences I’ve had!
