Before transitioning into academia and philanthropy, Brad led Intuit as CEO and later Executive Chairman, shaping the company into a global leader in financial technology. After stepping down as CEO in 2019, Brad co-founded the Wing 2 Wing Foundation with his wife, Alys, to help local businesses thrive and introduce more people to the Mountain State. Brad came into his current role as President of Marshall University in January 2022 and has spent his tenure expanding opportunity for current and future students.

In addition to serving as President of his alma mater, Brad sits on the Board of Directors for Amazon and JPMorgan Chase. He also serves as a Board Advisor for DignifiHealth and co-chairs the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)’s Commission on AI in Education.
