About me:
My name is Clayton Simms. I am a Christian, husband to my beautiful wife and father of 4.
I served in the US Marine Corps for 10 years.
2011 - 2015: Infantry
2015 - 2019: Psychological Operations and Information Operations Planner
2019 - 2021: Reserve PSYOP/IO
In 2019 I decided to leave the Marine Corps. I found myself in an extremely disappointing Transition Readiness Seminar (or Transition Assistance Program). The Accredited VSO was clueless and left all of us clueless. That began my journey to learn 38 CFR and M21-1 where I now take that knowledge to help veterans understand their evidence, and how to structure their evidence when submitting for VA disability compensation. In 2026, after leaving the federal government, I now work under an Accredited Claims Agent (38 CFR 14.630) under the Borne Accredited Claims banner.
I work A LOT here on YouTube and I am a bi-vocational Youth Pastor at my local church.

Where it all started…
When Dennis (VeteranAI) reached out in 2024 he flew to DC and we met at Ragtime in Arlington, VA.
Fast forward to today, Dennis flew back out to DC and once again, we met at Ragtime.
First meeting we had nothing, just a bunch of dreams and a plan to help veterans.
Tonight, we toasted to success and MUCH more to come.
Thanks for coming out, Dennis!
P.S. Use VeteranAI! Pinned comment!

Heads up.
We’re (Borne Accredited Claims) is putting a stop to our intake.
We have more than enough veterans who need accredited help. Once we expand, do all the things, we will go live and make the announcement for what’s next.

Call me a fan girl if you want but!!!
On May 19 at 7pm EST I’m having a Marine Corps legend on the channel.
Brad ‘Iceman’ Colbert from HBO’s mini-series “Generation Kill.”
Sgt. Colbert led his Recon Platoon during the invasion (liberation some would say) of Iraq in 2003. Before that, he spent time in Afghanistan. His career after those 2 deployments are small in comparison and I canNOT wait to have him on.
P.S. The book is better.

This is what we do just about every night.
We get together after the kiddos are down and we triage claims for the day.
The hard stuff, easy stuff, everything. 1 veteran at a time.

Do you trust this statement?
The VA is always going to follow the law, specifically when court cases change how the VA operates?
