I know a lot of people have asked me about the types of braces I wear for my EDS to help with prevention of subluxation and dislocation. While it’s never a guarantee that those things can’t still happen and not everything works for everyone or every kind of condition, I did want to share these as they have helped me a lot. I really don’t think I could get through a day at the parks without them anymore.

Both are relatively thin while still being supportive, which I really appreciate since I can even wear them under my clothes most of the time (I have the hip belt on in this picture under my shorts, and you can see I have the knee braces on).

The second picture shows them more (along with another brace I have for my ribcage and a heating pad I always use).

We are heartbroken. Adam helped us tremendously with our YouTube journey after my (Heather) husband passed … he was a wonderful person. We watched his vlogs for years with my husband/Em’s dad Everett before he passed in 2023. ❤️

We loved every time we got to spend time with Adam in the parks. Our hearts hurt and are praying for his family.

He talked about his faith… so we’re comforted.
Please … hug your dearly loved and just talk to Jesus … because it can happen in an instant … none of us are promised another minute. Jesus is listening and He loves you. Dearly.

We will miss Adam.

For anyone who’s watched a lot of different kinds of YouTube videos for the past decade, you’ve probably come across one of Adam’s videos at least once, especially if you enjoy theme parks or movies. We got to meet him after moving to Florida, and he was always so incredibly kind and supportive of mom and me (Emmy) as we navigated through moving to Orlando and talked about missing my dad.

Even though we didn’t know him all that well, Adam was a person that you could just instantly tell was a good person with a big heart who cared about people and treated everyone like a friend. We always enjoyed talking with him every time we’d see him in the parks, and he’d always stop and say hello and chat even if we’d just all happen to see each other passing by.

We are heartbroken for his family, close friends, and the community he touched more deeply than he may have even known for so many reasons. I remember watching Adam every week with my dad - laughing at his funny rollercoaster clips, or watching him visit car shows and movie locations.

Mom and I got to tell Adam how much that meant to us when we met him for the first time, and we are grateful that we got that opportunity and hope that it encouraged him to know that watching his videos were great memories for us with my dad that will always be meaningful to us.

He will be missed by so, so many countless people. 💔 I am praying for his family and dear friends who are missing him, especially so close to Christmas. 😢🙏🏻
