Nature, Architecture & Divine (Travel Shorts)
This is the Shree Balaji Mandir Building Bhuleshwar Road, Bhuleshwar South Mumbai.
Have a look at the beautiful window arches and the motifs on the building along with the grill patterns at the top.
The intricate carvings and floral patterns are amazing and truly catch the eye as one passes the street.
The year of establishment is stated as 1818 on the front entrance board of the Mandir.
The left portion of the building has undergone considerable modifications with extruded balconies.
Notice the slanted clay tiled roof at the top of the building.
Wonderful architecture indeed!

This heritage building is the Haji Mahal, Mohammed Ali Rd, Nakhuda Mohalla, Pydhonie, Mandvi, South Mumbai.
Have a look at the beautiful grillwork on the balconies and the Victorian styled stained glass design.
The glass art on the windows is sublime and catches ones eye as one passes the street, the light pink colour enhances the design features of the building.
It faces the J.J flyover on Mohammad Ali Road and houses popular businesses in its premises.
Wonderful architecture indeed!

This is the (Part-2) Chinai Building,Yusuf Meher Ali Rd & Dariyasthan street jn, Masjid Bundar West, South Mumbai.
Have a look at the window arches and the borders of the building along with dotted patterns underneath the borders.
The building needs maintenance and restoration work, the design patterns have been faded on certain sections which have to be revived back.
Now we move to the right side facing the narrow Dariyasthan street, the window arches are better preserved here than the front end, especially on the first floor.
Now notice the small Khau galli/ Food Alley below it selling snacks, fruit juices and dairy products, luckily enough the time was odd when i shot here, the crowds would have increased significantly during the late evenings.
Wonderful architecture and locality indeed!

Nature, Architecture & Divine (Travel Shorts)
This is the (Part-3) Suresh Bhavan, Dr N.A Purandare Road, Dadi Sheth Wadi, Malabar Hill, South Mumbai.
This is the final Part of the series, notice the pillar work, motifs, Indo-Saracenic grill patterns and designs along with the curved balconies on this end facing the Girgaon Chowpatty.
The main purpose of this video is to show the plight of the heritage building which is far from satisfactory, there is no proper outer fencing to the building with just bamboos installed on the exterior. (Such negligence could lead to illegal occupancy).
The old wooden frames are unmaintained and the glass is broken as well, the leftmost section of the building was in a critical state with concrete slabs installed in front of it which may be for extra stability.
The back right end was being maintained with visible cement work done on the extruded balconies.
I do hope they carry the restoration work soon and maybe try renting the space to private organisations for better upkeep.
Amazing architecture indeed!

Nature, Architecture & Divine (Travel Shorts)
This old stonewalled architecture is the Chinai Building,Yusuf Meher Ali Rd & Dariyastan street junction, Masjid Bundar West, South Mumbai.
Navigating through one of the busiest streets of Mumbai which is the Yusuf Meherali Road of Masjid Bunder, one comes across this heritage building.
The hand cart pullers here literally have an uphill and difficult task plying on the curvy and ascending road, Kudos to their daily hardwork.
Have a look at the stonewalled exterior and the Victorian styled window arches of this heritage building.
Though one can see modifications done to the exterior of the building the first floor of the front end has preserved the old window arches of the building.
I do hope they maintain and preserve the building and not carry out any further unnecessary modifications.
Wonderful old school architecture indeed!

Nature, Architecture & Divine (Travel Shorts)
This is the (Part-2) Seth Tulsidas Kilachand Garden, Dadi Sheth Wadi, Malabar Hill, South Mumbai.
We start the video with the bust statue of Seth Chaturbhuj Jeevan Das JP and his wife Bai Manibai.
The Bandstand (Gazebo) structure was erected here in the year 1936 by the efforts of Set Chaturbhuj Jeevan Das J.P.
The area was named after this very structure called the Chowpatty Bandstand area.
It was called the Bandstand as live Bands and Orchestra could perform for the public without the fear of unruly weather especially the unseasonal rains and winds.
According to online information the garden was opened for public in 1927.
Do read this wonderfully curated article with the link as follows:-

The view of the Girgaon Chowpatty, cool breeze and the peaceful calm of the Babulnath area around the garden is truly worth an experience.
A must visit for all!

This is the (Part-2) Suresh Bhavan, Dr N.A Purandare Road, Dadi Sheth Wadi, Malabar Hill, South Mumbai.
This video gives a clear look at the neoclassical pillars, motifs, curved balconies along the central turret and the beautiful dome atop it.
Notice the semi-circular balconies to the right which gives a European vibe.
Also check the angular extruded balconies to the left
The only major issue is the upkeep of the building on this end, it is quite neglected and needs urgent maintenance & restoration.
I hope the carry the restoration work soon.
The iconic Wilson college is located adjacent to the building across the street.
Amazing architecture indeed!

This is the Seth Tulsidas Kilachand Garden, Dadi Sheth Wadi, Malabar Hill, South Mumbai.
Thank you @hamidaqader3219 Ji for suggesting to cover parks and gardens, luckily I happened to be in the vicinity of this beautiful garden.
Have a look at the greenery around and the beautifully maintained pathway.
The central section of the garden is dedicated to the busts of prominent personalities of different fields that have contributed immensely to the state of Maharashtra and to the country as a whole.
The garden faces the iconic Girgaon Chowpatty and is located opposite the girgaon Chowpatty Viewing Deck.
The place is an ideal spot for young minds to gain information about the prominent personas and have a great time in nature along with their families.
There is also a Gazebo/Band stand that protects one from unruly weather and looks quite aesthetic and a small amphitheatre to the left corner while facing the main road.
Amazing Indeed!

This old heritage stone walled mansion is the Suresh Bhavan,Chowpatty Seaface, Dr N.A Purandare Road, Dadi Sheth Wadi, Malabar Hill, South Mumbai.
Have a look at the beautiful white done and the stone walled exterior along with the motif patterns and open balconies of the building.
It is a perfect blend of Victorian and Neo classical style of architecture.
On a closer look one can see the open balconies along with the Victorian styled semi-circular window arches and motifs patterns on the building.
Notice the large curved open balcony at the centre with the neo classical pillars which are a highlight here.
The building and the area around it does feel a bit neglected and it is in need of urgent maintenance and restoration work.
Beautiful old school architecture indeed!
We will cover the rest in the (Part-2) video.
