We often forget—
👉 An organization is not about position, microphones, or cameras.
👉 Its real strength lies in knowledge, wisdom, work, and responsibility.
Today, society is divided—
some driven by convenience, others by principles.
But if we continue to chase positions, visibility, and personal gain,
the real work will never get done.

তাহলে আসল কাজটাই হবে না।
🌱 সময়, জীবন ও দায়িত্ব
আমাদের জীবন সীমিত—
👉 কিন্তু আমাদের কাজের প্রভাব সীমাহীন হতে পারে।
আমি একজন পেশাজীবী হিসেবে আমার চিন্তা ও অভিজ্ঞতা লিখে রেখে যেতে চাই—
হয়তো আজ এগুলো শুধু মতামত,
কিন্তু ভবিষ্যতে এগুলোই হয়ে উঠবে সময়ের সাক্ষ্য।
আজ প্রশ্নটা একটাই—
👉 বাংলাদেশ কোন পথে হাঁটছে?
আমরা কি
✔️ ন্যায়, জবাবদিহিতা ও জ্ঞানের পথে যাচ্ছি?
নাকি
❌ বিভাজন, স্বার্থ ও ক্ষমতার প্রতিযোগিতার পথে?
🧭 ব্যক্তিগত উপলব্ধি
আমি ব্যক্তিগতভাবে অনেক কাজ করেছি—
অনেক বড় প্রজেক্টে থেকেও সামনে আসিনি।
কারণ আমি জানি—
👉 ক্যামেরার সামনে আসা না,
👉 কাজটাকে টেকসই করা—এটাই আসল।
⚖️ গণভোটের চেতনা
গণভোট মানে শুধু ভোট না—
👉 এটা জনগণের বিবেকের প্রকাশ
👉 এটা ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের প্রতি দায়বদ্ধতার ঘোষণা
আমরা যারা পেশাজীবী—
আমাদের দায়িত্ব শুধু নিজের ক্যারিয়ার না,
👉 বরং সমাজ ও রাষ্ট্রের দিকনির্দেশনায় ভূমিকা রাখা।
🧠 আমাদের করণীয়
সত্য বলার সাহস রাখা
তথ্য ও জ্ঞানের ভিত্তিতে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া
ব্যক্তিস্বার্থের বাইরে গিয়ে জাতীয় স্বার্থে চিন্তা করা
একটি সমাজ গড়তে হবে যেখানে—
👉 যোগ্যতা > পরিচয়
👉 ন্যায় > ক্ষমতা
🌍 ভবিষ্যতের জন্য বার্তা
আজ আমি যা লিখছি—
হয়তো ২০ বছর পরে কেউ পড়বে এবং বলবে—
“তখনও কিছু মানুষ ছিল, যারা সঠিক পথের কথা বলেছিল।”
👉 আমরা যেন এমন কিছু রেখে যাই
যা আমাদের না থাকলেও সমাজকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যায়।

NPA-কে যদি সত্যিই বড় করতে চাই—
আমাদের হতে হবে:

The Solution Must Start from Rural Economic Zones

Bangladesh is standing at a critical crossroads of urban transformation. Our cities are not growing by choice; they are expanding under pressure. Millions are leaving rural areas not because cities are attractive, but because villages can no longer guarantee livelihoods, dignity, or basic security.

In this context, when political parties speak of urban development in their election manifestos, a fundamental question must be asked:
Are we solving the problem—or only managing its symptoms?
From my professional experience as an architect and development planner, it is clear that Bangladesh’s urban crisis cannot be solved inside city limits alone. The real solution lies outside the cities—within a structured, planned rural economic framework. This belief has shaped my work on the Micro Rural Economic Zone (MREZ) model.
Why Urban Development Needs MREZ
Urban development is not about flyovers, metro lines, or skyline projects alone. It is about where people work, live, raise families, and find dignity.
The primary driver of rural-to-urban migration in Bangladesh is not aspiration—it is economic compulsion. Villages lack stable jobs, value-added production, storage, market access, and modern services. Cities absorb this pressure, but without adequate planning, resulting in congestion, informal settlements, environmental degradation, and social inequality.
The Micro Rural Economic Zone directly addresses this structural failure.
Each MREZ is designed as a small but complete economic ecosystem at the village or union level, integrating:
Local resource–based production
Agro-processing and micro-industries
Employment for youth and women
Storage, logistics, and digital market access
Basic housing, health, and education infrastructure
When people can earn, live, and grow locally, migration becomes a choice—not a necessity.
The Most Effective Way to Reduce Urban Pressure
The uncontrolled pressure on Dhaka, Chattogram, Gazipur, and Narayanganj is not caused by urban opportunity alone—it is caused by rural weakness.
If MREZs are implemented systematically:
Forced rural-urban migration will significantly decrease
Slum growth and informal settlements will reduce
Urban infrastructure will regain functional capacity
City planning instruments like DAP will become implementable
In short, cities can only become livable when villages become economically strong.
What Must Be Reflected in Election Manifestos
If political parties are serious about sustainable urban development, their manifestos must go beyond city-centric promises and include:
Formal recognition of Micro Rural Economic Zones as a national development strategy
Rural employment generation as a core urban decongestion policy
Legal and institutional frameworks for union-level economic zones
Integrated rural-urban value chains and logistics planning

A unified approach linking housing, employment, and environment
Without this, urban development pledges will remain cosmetic.

Development Is Not Concrete
Bangladesh has repeatedly mistaken visible infrastructure for development. True development is measured by the quality of life people experience.
When people can work near home, live securely, and envision a future for their children, cities naturally regain balance.
Urban development manifestos must therefore reflect a continuum—from village to city, not an artificial divide.

The Micro Rural Economic Zone is not just a project.

It is a practical pathway to resolving Bangladesh’s urban crisis at its root.
The real choice before us is simple:
Will we keep expanding cities under pressure—or will we strengthen villages with purpose?
