Sometimes, as a child of God, you pause and ask, “Am I doing the right thing?”

There are moments when He speaks clearly by guiding, correcting, and convicting your heart. And there are moments when He is silent.

But His silence is not neglect; it’s trust.

God doesn’t micromanage you. You’ve come of age in Him. He trusts what He has already placed in you, so you can walk without needing constant instruction.

So if He’s quiet, don’t panic. Stay steady. Keep going.

And be assured of this: if you begin to stray, He will draw you back and correct you. He never leaves you. Sometimes, His leadership is gentle, quiet, and sure.

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.”

23:46 on a Monday Night, Ghana

Just sitting in my dimly lit room, looking out the window into the dark grey sky.
Unlike yesterday, the stars are hiding tonight.
Not a single one graces the sky.

The clouds are crawling by quite quickly,
as though they’ve been summoned to… God knows where.

Tonight, the sky is bland
and that too is beautiful.

Tomorrow will come,
and the stars may show up again,
bright and pretty as usual.

You know what I love about my neighborhood?
On 31st night, there is always about 45 minutes of fireworks and knockouts non stop and I love love love it 😍.
