Please go see HOKUM, out in theatres this weekend. You all know how crotchety I am about most modern horror. So please believe me when I tell you THIS is the best horror film I’ve seen in years. It has spine-tingling scares, spooky atmosphere, and humour that doesn’t feel forced. Bravo to Damian McCarthy for the way he skillfully layers mystery and intrigue through storytelling that doesn’t stall or miss a beat. Hokum deserves a massive audience!

Hey Scream team! My full SCREAM 7 review IS coming. It’s just taking a little longer because it’s a very long one. Longer than the Scream VI review even. So thank you for your patience.

And to answer the question about WHO KILLED WHO in Scream 7… yes, there will OF COURSE be one. But similar with the last two film releases, it’s going to be some time until after the physical media becomes available. Just so I can absorb as much BTS and commentary as possible. And hopefully we will get a script leak online at some point too. Gotta uncover every clue, ya know!

SCREAM HOUSE MAPPING VIDEO COMING!!!

Y’all have been asking for this for years, and I finally did it. I animated the entire third act of Scream ‘96 using google maps and a mostly accurate floor plan of Stu’s house. Similar to what I did for the opening scene, this is basically just me showing the math of WHO KILLED WHO.

I am still unsure of my schedule as we have some overlapping festivals, and are still waiting to hear back from several more. So unfortunately I'm not sure yet if I will be in attendance.

Not sure yet if my schedule will allow me to attend, but the event will host some fearsome guests within the horror community, including Heart Eyes director, Josh Ruben. Check the event's website for more updates.
