My oldest daughter has decided to follow in my footsteps, so every week this summer we are working on a new skill. We are cornrowing, blow dry styling, box braiding with hair added, practicing proper nail care, it’s a busy summer.
One thing I tell her that I think bears repeating:
Frustration is part of the learning process. It is ok to be frustrated and need a break…take that break, AND THEN COME BACK.
