You’re here because you’re tired of car content and you want driving content.

This channel is for people who notice the difference between fast and good. I focus on what matters at the wheel: feedback, control, traction behavior, damping, brake confidence, transmission logic, and what all of that means in the real world.

If that’s what you came for, welcome. Subscribe if you want reviews that are earned on the road, not rehearsed from a press release.

Lexus has turned the ES into 3 different arguments: hybrid, front drive EV, and all wheel drive EV.

The question is not whether it is quiet. Lexus knows quiet. The question is which version still makes sense once the road starts exposing the weight, the drivetrain logic, and the price.

Full first drive report drops 7am Eastern tomorrow.

The most interesting part of the Final Edition is not the plaque.

It is the list of things Toyota changed at the end: larger front Brembos, revised differential control, firmer bushings, reinforced mounts, retuned dampers, revised camber, and aero cleanup. That is not a sticker package. That is a chassis correction.

If you are taking delivery of a 2026 CX-5 Premium Plus this week, check the SOS Emergency Call system before signing the paperwork. Owners are already reporting a Day 1 malfunction that requires a battery disconnect to clear. Watch the Owner Intel segment in our latest review for the full breakdown ⬇️

Tomorrow: the 2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition.

382 hp can hide a lot. Late brake release. Lazy throttle pickup. A line that only works because turbo torque arrives like correction fluid.

Toyota says this last MkV gets revised diff control, larger brakes, more rigidity, aero work, and retuned suspension. On this road, those parts have to answer for the car.

Crossovers are dying from software bloat and numb steering racks. Tomorrow, we examine a $41,080 exception to the rule that relies on 187 horsepower and a six speed automatic.

The most revealing part of the Polestar 4 is not the missing rear window. That has been talked to death.

The more useful question is whether the ownership layer matches the car underneath it. Owners are already talking about guest-profile behaviour, heated-seat differences by material, charge-port door habits, and Pilot Assist trust. Underneath that, there is a genuinely good car trying to get out.

The most useful RAV4 Woodland owner mod may be removing the factory crossbars.

That tells you almost everything about this trim. Toyota engineered a quieter cabin with an acoustic laminated windshield, then bolted noise to the roof because rugged had to look rugged.

The outgoing ES 300h consistently beat its EPA rating. Owners tracked high 40s in real driving across 9.7 million miles.

The new 350h jumps to 243 hp from the same 2.5L hybrid setup. More power usually means worse fuel economy. What do you want me to test? Traffic crawl, highway cruise, cold start behaviour, or something specific you learned to look for in your old ES?

The Polestar 4 does not make the usual EV mistake. It is not trying to distract you from a weak chassis with acceleration numbers.

This one is quick, quiet, good looking, and more composed than it needs to be. So the harder question is not whether it is good. The harder question is whether Polestar has built a car people will understand before they walk past it.
