Welcome to our channel!
We share positive, encouraging content focused on talking dog communication, service dog life, dog enrichment, art, mental health, disability life & everyday moments together.
I’m a disabled DV survivor living with PTSD, dysautonomia, PNES & one of my biggest goals is helping others feel less alone while sharing honest parts of life with chronic illness. Pharaby has been a huge part of my journey, & honestly, I wouldn’t be here without her.
Art is a huge part of our lives. Pharaby & I paint & we even create collaborative artwork together!
Our goal is to inspire kindness toward animals by showing just how intelligent, emotional, communicative & deeply connected they truly are.
We’ve also created talking dog resources, including my AIC book “Button Up”, the PTSD service dog task training book, SD training planner, AIC planner, artwork, & other resources for pup parents🤗 links below

I just posted an update over on our GoFundMe page.
As we head toward the start of a brand new month, the pressure to keep this little sanctuary secure is definitely weighing heavy, especially with all the severe flooding and weather we've been having here, which just hit us with some unexpected extra expenses to keep our living space safe and dry 🙃 True stability is a constant climb, and making sure our basic foundation is locked down for the weeks ahead is everything right now.
If you've been following our journey and are in a position to help us keep our heads above water and push forward, please consider sharing our link today or donating. We are doing everything we can to protect our peace and our home, but we truly cannot do it without our village.
Thank you guys for always looking out for us 💜🥰

Thank you all so much!
(Note: I know many of you are incredibly kind and want to suggest local crisis resources or state programs, but please save yourself the time! Our situation is unique, we are fully tapped into our specific plan, and the GoFundMe is truly the only avenue that helps us build the long-term, permanent safety we need.)
Love,
Jen & Pharaby 💜

Hey hey 🤗
I've been sitting here reflecting this morning & feeling a deep wave of gratitude just to be alive & have a peaceful space to wake up in. But I also want to be incredibly real with y’all, surviving the hardest chapters was just the beginning 😭
The daily reality of medical recovery, ongoing health struggles, & the financial weight that comes with it is a massive, uphill climb.
I am SO glad to be here, but I still need my village to help me cross the finish line and truly learn to live again, not just survive.
If you have the means to donate OR can simply hit share to help me cover these ongoing recovery costs, it would mean the world to me & Pharaby.

Pharaby & I had a good day for my birthday!
Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes & GoFundMe shares & donations🥰 that means everything to us! We couldn’t do this without y’all since my health went wild & dysautonomia kicked in so bad. Definitely not what I expected to be doing at 43 but here we go. I’m super happy to be here on earth participating in life, even if it is different than what I expected. I’m so glad I survived all scary stuff that lead me here.
I had several good health hours in a row today 🥳! so I’m really super thankful for that too!
I made a pineapple dump cake with cream cheese frosting with coconut on top & I made loaded vegan hotdog for dinner.
I picked super easy things that I knew I could do even if I didn’t feel well but things I wouldn’t normally get because hotdog are surprisingly pricy if you get toppings so that was my birthday dinner treat 😀 & I get them for the whole week for dinner 😅
Pharaby got some shredded coconut in her puzzle that I saved just for her 🥰 she has enough to do that a few times when I have my cake.
I’ve been playing with alcohol markers the past few days & I learned to draw balloons. The balloon dog is kind of wonky, but still identifiable 😂
pharaby and I did not do Easter egg hunt today because it rained but hopefully we’ll do that soon.
As y’all know, we play sniffy game in the house a lot so it’s not like she’s missing out really.

Thanks for the sweet comments on our sweaters I knit for us 🥰💜
I didn’t follow a pattern Pharabys but I did for mine, & you can find it here:
www.ravelry.com/projects/KnittyGrittyVegan/ingalls
Links are not clickable in the shorts comments so it makes sense to post it here for everyone🥰
I’ve knit a lot of Caitlyn Hunter sweaters and they’re all super fun and she’s a great pattern writer!
The yarn for mine is my hand dyed from when I used to dye yarn & Pharabys is in Knit Picks Felici in the Time Traveler colorway
Happy Knitting 🥰

I just saw this on Instagram so I wanted to share here too, I usually don’t share posts like this over here, but I think this explains living with a dynamic disability so well. I broke my own rule 🤣 🥰
