The painter came back today to do the last little touch-ups and while he was here he painted my thrifted stool a beautiful red.

And that's making me happy.

I've been immersed in French knots all day long. And that also makes me happy.

Just one of probably 10 patches of coyote mint around our place. It's making me happy today. And it's making all the bees pretty happy too

Oh, it’s so easy to happy today. Why? Because all the windows in the house got cleaned today.

Great big happy here.

Bonus happy? Hubby has his delicious oatmeal bread baking at the moment the house smells good. And it will be so delicious with dinner.

Day 2 of weekend gardening. I have continued to play musical pots trying to empty out the dead dirt from the huge big blue pots that I want to put at the front of the house. The dead dirt can go in the hugelbed and when we bring the loamy soil up from the neighbor I can fill the pots.

Hubby continues to work on the stairs to bring us down from the upper yard to the lower yard. It's so visually interesting now.

And my eye is feeling a lot better than yesterday. Not 100% but definitely not in the pain that I was yesterday. And that's a great big happy.

Saturday in the yard is always good for a happy. I mostly worked on pots today. I've been trying to figure out which pots to have in what places around the house. There's replanting to be done but at least now I know what pots are going to live where. I'm really happy with the weigh space outside my studio the is coming together.

Slight mishap when hubby and I tried to move a big clay pot onto the dolley and I had my head too close to his elbow. So ouch. Won't be moving that pot until I empty it of dirt.

I also got a lot of my grasses divided and planted. They do good for weed suppression and breaking up the dirt down below.

It's been a French knot kind of day. And then when I took a break because my wrist and shoulder told me to stop, I spent some time in the garden. Then it was back to French knots then back to the garden.

Not a bad way to spend a day.

And that makes me happy.

Monkey flowers in bloom at one of the watering stations is making me happy today. Also Mr. Skunk discovered the Oak Hollow watering station.

Small bits of progress on a variety of things today and that feels good.

After I posted the picture of the nasturtium seeds I had collected a couple of people asked me if I had pictures of the nasturtiums while they were still blooming. There's only one small batch that is the finished blooming and that's where those seeds came from.

I just walked around the property and these are all the patches of nasturtium still in bloom. They are a great fill and weed suppressor while the larger plants fill in.

And they make me happy.

Happy Gotcha Day, Tali! 2 years ago you came home with us and nothing around here has been the same since.

You make us laugh every day.

Some days you identify a German Shepherd others you identify as Husky and we wouldn't change a thing about you.
