On July 16, Fr. Cajetan Cuddy (Dominican priest) and Dr. Austin Freeman (Protestant scholar) are coming together for Capturing Catholicism's first ever in-person debate. On the table: Sola Scriptura. The Eucharist. And the one almost nobody is brave enough to ask out loud anymore: what would real unity between Catholics and Protestants actually look like?
This is the conversation the internet keeps having badly, done right. Two serious minds. Same room. Good faith.
Here's the catch. July 16 is just three weeks away, and we're not ready yet. We have to fly our guests in and get the gear to capture it the way it deserves: a camera, lens, microphone, and a new mixer. Without it, this doesn't happen.
So I'm asking you to help me make it happen.
Every gift, big or small, gets us closer to that room. And everyone who contributes gets their name in the credits of the show.

Pope Leo XIV on the upcoming SSPX Episcopal Consecrations:
“I am considering making another appeal saying don't do this, let's try to live the communion of the Church. But it's their choice. One must realize what it means for them and for the Church. Certainly, the division among Christians is a painful point. However, they refuse to accept some fundamental elements of the Church, starting with several points from the Second Vatican Council. If they make that decision, I'm sorry but we have to move on.”
You may or may not have noticed that video production has slowed down a bit. Summers are always difficult (work-wise) with the kids being home. This year I've decided to spend a bit more time with them (they're growing up fast).
Another factor is that I've started several projects and ultimately discerned to press the brakes due to needing to do more research. I've got a project now on the dating of the Catholic Church, for example, that is opening up so many areas of exploration that I'm not even sure where to go or what to put in the final script. I don't want to put out something hastily just because of some made-up video quota I keep putting on myself.
If I may, continue to pray for discernment for this channel. Things will be ramping up in a month or so. Thanks so much for your support.
You may know this already, but YouTuber @McJuggerNuggets recently announced that he and his wife killed/aborted their 21 week old baby because he had Down Syndrome. Pray for the conversion of souls so that things like this never happen again.
Just received two beautiful pieces from Jacob at Memento Christi: a sculpted "Man in the Shroud" and a framed replica of the Shroud itself. Both stop you in your tracks and draw you into the Passion. He's a craftsman providing for his family through hand-painted Catholic art.
Ethan's interview with Matt aired today and he looked ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Special thanks to everyone that donated for his suit!
Btw, I have some inside knowledge that this interview is already changing hearts and minds. Let's pray that it reaches as many as possible for the Glory of Jesus Christ!

Haven’t been to the gym in YEARS. Small decisions made it happen. Our bodies are temples.

Mike was a big part of my conversion. I asked what to look into, and he said the papacy. I found so much evidence for it that I converted.
Think I should respond?
