I come bearing yet another question for the good people of the world (that's you!)
Have you ever played a game where you felt the gameplay itself was miserable, but that miserable gameplay directly lead to a more interesting, impactful, or otherwise meaningful experience? For example; I hated the gameplay of Bilewater in Silksong, but I loved how the mechanics there worked together make it feel like that entire area was a living entity that was designed to hurt anything that entered it.

I have a question! Can you think of a game in a series that dramatically deviated from what the series used to be? Breath of the Wild for the Zelda series and Monster Hunter World for Monster Hunter for example. Any examples are welcome, but specifically I'm looking for negative ones. Reasoning/context is also greatly appreciated!

Howdy! I've got some updates for you so I'll just cut to the chase.

1. I played Alabaster Dawn (the next game by the crosscode devs) and posted a video about it on Patreon! It's a new type of video that I haven't done before, but it was really fun!

2. the next main channel video will hopefully be out by the 25th. It's pretty long, but I'm making progress! Here's the hint: It's a direct sequel to a previous video.
