Anyone up for a NEW GAME announcement next week?

Folks! When you're playing a game that has multiple endings, do you expect an in-game explanation of how to get those endings?

For example a list of possible endings and their criteria, along the lines of "Ending A: collect 3 widgets, spin around 6 times, and pet the dog after 9pm"

I’m so honoured to share that I’ve been selected as one of this year’s BAFTA Breakthroughs for creating Farewell North!

Fun photos aside, BAFTA Breakthrough celebrates a selection of “breakthrough” film, television, and games creators each year. In fact, Tom Holland was a BAFTA Breakthrough just before he was cast as Spider-Man, so naturally I expect nothing less.

Practically speaking, the point of the program is mentorship, and I’ll have some opportunities to meet established game directors, narrative designers, and screenwriters to pick their brains and hopefully learn some stuff!

I can’t imagine a better way to close out the Farewell North journey, thanks again to all of you for following along the last five years. If you don’t already know, I am working away on something new now, it’s quite different to Farewell North but I’m having an absolute blast with it, and can’t wait to share more soon!

I still can't quite believe it, but Farewell North won Best Narrative at the Debug Indie Game Awards last Friday!

As a Canadian writing a love letter to Scotland, this was a truly validating award to receive and I'm so grateful to the entire team and our Scottish voice cast for making this happen, as well as all of you who've supported this game ❤️
