If you are wondering why my demos from 2023 sound so rubbish, i had a challenge to make one album everyday for a month. did it for a week. and those are just my melodies. i don't have the connections or social life to actually get anywhere with them.
How i spesifically record that jingly acoutic mixed inn with electric. that i got this year. I got my samsung a55 smartphone as a backup mic next to my acoustic, and have it running on an output as well at the same time. then i mix inn both recordings to taste to make that room of noise feel. i usally have a electric guitar with the middle pickup switch on for cleans while i try my best to backtrack the acoutic part witch takes painfull amount of time. i usally use a stratocaster middle pickup, les paul middle or a tele middle but usally use the strat as a safe and underated option. then i add bass. witch i don't have an really good ampsim or knowhow so i just use the bassman on my mooer cabx2. and use the same EQ and Db boost. effects maybe. then i try to wing it or just make some melody that dances with the song. but bass is not my strong suit. i put it in a 4 track, sometimes i finish the 4track to mp4 then i add even more of sound/parts and make it essantically a godly compressed audio mesh. but the bass i add about + 50 vol. no drums i just don't play that well and drummers are rare and just argumentive when you make do. but i used a mooer grove loop to fix the basic drum track and maybe a akai E2 Headrush to make delay, reverb, or tape echo.
The reason spesfically why i upload my demos songs first is really beacuse i lack the connections to find the right people, i have an idea of the song but not the right people to execute the idea properly or even get studiotime and even if i make my songs public, they easily get burried in the algorythm, and if i do upload them people will recognise me from the past and call me an autistic loser who should never be allowed to make anything meaningful and is better off being never remembered or forced to be forgotten and a shut inn, but i don't want my music to be forgotten or staying in a lost hard drive because that i'm socially speaking alone and connectionless. This whole music thing is me sceaming in the void basiclly. i would have quit and done something more productive if my hearing and tinitus totally ruined the chance for me to live and enjoy my life as before, i do wear hearing aids that mask parcially 70 -85% of my T, i also lost like my talking voice, i can't talk for more then 2 min max and singing is impossible now, it hurts whenever i talk. You won't get a cent off doing music today and people will make fun of you behind your back saying you can't sing or write music, i saw this young lady once sh*ttalking about this lady they knew at school who couldn't sing on tikok, two young gals and a young lad, like thats is the most brutal and perspective ruining thing i heard in a long time. it's easier to pick on those who are lower and strange then those who have a high functioning social value and you see they have main charecter aura. but if your weakness is your music it's a struggle to even find a reason to not regret everything and wishing to wake up in the past
