racism is so normalized within indie animation fandoms, art fandoms, cosplay fandoms, and the TADC VA stuff proves it, saying it's "not that deep" or a "nothing burger" to rightfully call out VAs happily cackling and giggling at racial slur innuendos as grown adults even if it was 7 years ago is so ridiculous and tonedeaf to black people who have every right to be upset about it.
the more we normalize subtle racism like this or microaggressions the more worse and worse stuff will eventually be excused and normalized too.
