250,000 of you! That’s wild. THANK YOU! 🙏🙏🙏
For the past 6 months, I’ve been showing you “free” houses in Japan… and explaining why most people probably shouldn’t touch them.
So to celebrate 250K subscribers, I’m working on something a little crazy:
I want to help one viewer get a move-in-ready home in Japan, done the right way, not the DIY money-pit version, and film the whole journey.
The goal is to make this happen on the road to 1,000,000 subscribers.
DISCLAIMER: There will be official rules, eligibility requirements, tax disclosures, and a proper application process. This will not be a “subscribe to win” contest, and YouTube is not involved.
But the mission is simple:
Show the world what it actually takes to buy a good, affordable home in Japan, and hand one person the keys on camera.
More details soon.

"Sure, anyone can buy a home in Japan but it doesn't come with residency. How do I actually move there?" 🏡💭
If you’ve ever left that exact comment, this upcoming video is for you. We are covering the missing piece of the puzzle: the transition from tourist to resident. I’m talking with Courtney, an Australian living and studying in Japan, about the reality of language schools, retirement paths, and navigating the system.
We’re diving into language schools, visa options, and what day-to-day life actually looks like. New video out now!

A lot of people think that if they can just speak fluent Japanese, they can easily buy a house here. Jason proved that’s not the case. 🗣️❌
He did everything right, even using AI to ensure his messages to the agent were perfectly natural. Yet, the second the agent realized Jason was a non-resident foreigner, the deal mysteriously evaporated.
The hidden hurdles in Japanese real estate have very little to do with language, and everything to do with unwritten rules that nobody tells you.
Watch today's video to see the real reasons foreign buyers get turned away, and exactly what you need on your side to make sure it doesn't happen to you.
