note: my channel is now all of a sudden getting attacked over claims to my hundreds and hundreds of SCTV clips that I’ve been sharing for years, and years without any dispute. All the while, trying very hard to always give credit to the actual content and copyright owners for EVERYTHING I post. I guess some “official SCTV channels got a bit butt-hurt that some of my clips were outperforming theirs…. Whatever - I’m literally sharing out their content un-monetized and for free, but you’re too stupid to see the benefit. Not my problem. I’m my descriptions I clearly display the fact that I am merely sharing the content, not in ownership of it, so get over yourselves you stupid pathetic infringement lawyers.

They should be thanking me for helping to get their content out to a wider audience…. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

In the interim (and until I can settle the dispute) you’re gonna have to deal with some non-sctv related stuff till my 90 day strikes expire. Thank you for your patients. ⚠️ DO NOT READ: I know this is a small and inconsequential channel, so only my loyal regulars may have noticed no uploads lately. They can also attest that this channel is not monetized. I make zero dollars from it. As a formerly proud Canadian, It’s been more a labour of love to share out some classic Canadian content. Namely SCTV. After years of uploading hundreds and hundreds of SCTV clips, now all of a sudden now someone claiming to be an owner of the intellectual content has been trying to get my channel taken down by issuing strikes against me. To those not familiar with YouTube politics, a strike lasts 3 months, and 3 strikes means you lose your channel. Yes, I can fight it, but if for some reason I lose, I will certainly lose my channel. This, even though I am very VERY careful to always give credit to, and acknowledge the ownership of all content, including any music that SCTV was so notoriously reckless with infringing on. The proof is in my descriptions. Nonetheless, now all of a sudden they are attacking? Really? I don’t know why I’m telling you this… maybe it’s just because you loyal followers deserve to know why I’ve been laying low, or maybe it’s just to seek your advice. I know some of you are real hard-core SCTV experts, so feel free to chime-in. This channel was never meant to be strictly an “SCTV” channel. It just kinda morphed into what it is, but I always had other plans for it. Bottom line, I’m not willing to lose it over petty shit like this. If for some reason some of my content is doing better than some “official” SCTV channel, and someone is pissed or jealous, that’s not my fault. They should do better. Not attack the little guys.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Curious to hear any thoughts on the matter. In the meantime, here’s an upload to see what you’ve been missing due to the actions of this coward. It’s a shame some petty human is trying to ruin it for both you and myself. If indeed this is a valid owner, SCTV is only hurting themselves by lessening the FREE extra worldwide exposure my channel provides them with. That’s cutting off the nose to spite the face. Stupid move.

To my subscribers & viewers: My sincere apologies for the commercial interruptions on some of my more popular SCTV uploads. My goal was always to share SCTV bits commercial-free. Not sure if you know how YouTube works, but my channel is not monetized. This means I make zero dollars from it. It’s literally a labor of love. Despite this, a third party (most likely the copyright holders) have inserted ads on some of the more popular clips. I get this, but it is completely outside my control, and I don’t see a penny from it. Just wanted you to know that, and also to thank you for tuning in regularly. As a proud Canadian, my only wish is to share our fine Canadian content with those around the world who may not be aware of the creative powerhouse a cold climate can inspire.
