A 9-day residential training workshop on 'Journalism and Mass Communication' was inaugurated at the Asian College of Journalism today.
The workshop is an initiative of the Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare in collaboration with Centre for Social Justice and Equity, Madras School of Social Work and Asian College of Journalism.
Around 25 participants from different districts of Tamil Nadu, who are graduates from SC and ST communities, will be part of this workshop.
The core objective of the workshop is to equip SC/ST students with the knowledge and skills needed to use journalism as a catalytic tool for social change.
Asian College of Journalism in collaboration with The Peninsula Foundation organised a colloquium on The Iran-Israel War: The Changing Security and Strategic Landscape of the Middle East.
