A powerful message about the love of God!

“I will pursue my lovers...”
But God said, “I will hedge up her way.”

Sometimes the greatest act of God’s love is not protection.
Sometimes it is correction.

We pray for a hedge of protection, while God lovingly places a hedge of correction in our path. Doors close. Plans fail. Pursuits become frustrating. Not because God hates us, but because He refuses to let us destroy ourselves chasing empty loves.

God blocked Gomer’s path so she would turn around.
So she would come home.
So she would repent.

Repentance is not running from God.
It is walking back to a God who has always loved us with an unrelenting love.

Even in our wandering, His love keeps pursuing us.
