Anyways, I ran into some copyright issues with the Pappy video, but was able to clear it up! So it's back live. It derailed what I was trying to do. I plan on having a couple (maybe even 3 videos) up for May, but we shall see

Hey HighProofers, I'm still alive.... 😅 Currently working on a new video and after the success of the Pappy Van Winkle video and I think that is enough to devote more time to the channel.
A new High Proof Report documentary will be dropping next week and it's genuinely one of my favorite stories ever (although there is a chance I may get demonitized based on the subject matter...) 👀

Review: Star Hill Farm Wheat Whiskey
I’m a sucker for wheated whiskey, but this is crazy!
This whiskey blew my mind and ti will blow your’s if you can find it. But I can help with that, too! But first, the details…

Mashbill: 51% Soft Red Winter Wheat | 27% Malted Wheat | 22% Malted Barley
Age: 7 to 8 years
Proof: 114.7
Findability: 2 out of 10

Nosing/Tasting Notes
Nose: The 78% of wheat in the mash bill makes this soft and inviting. But better than your quintessential Makers Mark. Unexpectedly, I get superb woody cola notes like I’m drinking a Stagg. And at 7 or so years, I get sweet, sweet, oak! It’s phenomenal
Palate: Spank me… this is an amazing whiskey. It’s sweet, soft, marshmallow-y, full-bodied, rich… WOW. Not super oily on the backend like I’d like, but not drying either. I get tobacco and leather also which I am loving at the moment.
Finish: It’s very, very good. I get the Kentucky hug and warming. It’s a medium-to-long finish and I’m upset when it’s done.

I have a few friends that say they have never tasted a Makers Mark that they supremely liked… well, they haven’t tried Star Hill Farm.
I read that Makers will make this release a more normal thing, but it hasn’t started yet. I got this from a buddy over at @signaturewineandspirts.
This bottle is hard to find, but if you want rare bottles, just create relationships and be a freakin’ human with your local store. It’s that easy.
I wasn’t expecting much from this, especially being a first release, but I was blown away and will nurse this bottle for a while until I can get a backup.
